Chapter 42 - Awake

Did Bryanna wake up? Is that what it means to have these feelings flood through our connection?
Please, let it mean she is awake.
My heart hammers against my chest as I continue to pray to the moon goddess for my mate to be awake while I sprint as fast as I can. I desperately want to look into her gorgeous green eyes again.
As I jump through the edge of the trees, the pack house isn’t too far from me now. I take a moment and glance around. No one has emerged from the underground bunkers yet. The outside door to the bunker only allows people to leave, but it is designed for safety purposes so no one can get in from the outside. Instead, I must enter the bunker from one of the hidden entrances within the buildings.
I bolt through the front door of the pack house, shifting back to my human form right before I reach the entrance.
