7. Bad Newzz

EMILY POV

The bed in my new room was extremely soft so I slept like a log and when I finally woke up, my entire body was sore.

After I pulled out of bed, I went straight to the showers, emptied my bowel, took my bath and wore a simple short floral gown.

I kept thinking about Max as I made my way to the spacious dining room. How would I reach him since I'll be denying my entire lineage at the press conference in just a few hours?

The mansion had two living rooms, several bedrooms all en-suite with walk-in closets, a huge dining hall that could host a dinner party, three studies, a smaller dining room, a large kitchen, snooker table, and an infinity pool.

It was all painted with luxury. Leo's room and mine as well as his study and the kitchen were at the East wing of the house.

A maid ran over to me as soon as she saw me. I guessed she was the head chef.

"Good morning ma'am," she said and bowed.

"Good morning. I can't seem to find the other faces I saw yesterday," I said while moving t
