18| Dates (Emma)

David didn’t tell me his plans for our date, and I was surprised when he opened the door for me to a cooking class. I’ve always heard about dates like this but I’ve never been on one before, and while I was hungry and slightly hoping for a restaurant where I didn’t have to cook my own food, the thought was adorable and I had the widest smile on my face.

When you first walk in, you notice the massive kitchen in the back with a blinding amount of stainless steel appliances, and in front of it are roughly ten tables for the students to sit down at once they finished preparing their meal.

“We’re really doing this?” I asked through my smile as I looked back at him.

He was shedding his suit jacket and rolling up his sleeves when he responded, “I wanted to show you that I’m more than just fashion,” he smiled and I saw his dimples and just melted.
