Valentina woke up to her alarm going off. Then she rolled over and looked at the time, before snoozing the alarm clock and and getting up from her bed. Valentina knew that today was going to be a very long day. She checked her phone again and there was still no text from Kendra, so she started walking around the room. She was still slightly angry that Kendra hadn't called or texted her to try to make amends before she left. That girl sure has some nerve, Valentina thought bitterly. And that was what hurt her the most. Kendra was like a sister to her, and she was leaving things like this. Letting her leave when things between them was bad and needed to be taken care of. Valentina was wearing her silky black pajamas set. The top was a tank top and it had a very short set of shorts. Valentina turned to leave and smiled while walking up the stairs. When she got to ber bedroom, she threw her phone on the bed. Then she moved closer to the bed, and threw herself on it, her hair falling everywhere, then she later sat back up after some time. She went to the window to look at the weather and it seemed pretty chilly and grey today. Valentina let one tear fall. It was the only one that she would allow today. She swiped it away and began to tidy up all her five suitcases. All of them were black and they had a brown handle. She picked up one that had some of her shoes and began the trip of putting it near the front door. After about eight minutes, all five of Valentina's suitcases were in front of the door and she was out of breath. She hadn't really worked out in two weeks and she was starting to feel it. They were now sitting in the back of one of the SUVs, and as Valentina stretched her hand to put the seatbelt on, she felt Alexander's eyes on her as he watched every single move she made. The car began to move and she looked through the tinted window to watch her childhood home vanish from her sight. When she could no longer see it, she turned to the front. Valentina was already at ease because of the little exchange Alexander had given her since she had seen him today, and even his expression was very monotone. His perfect lips were pulled into a straight line and his breathing was very shallow. She tried to use her phone to distract herself from his presence for a while. After a long drive they finally stopped, and Valentina looked out of the window to see a large white plane which had Alexander's last name on it. It looked so luxurious, and Valentina had only ever been on an airplane twice but she was still scared. Kendra would want to go on vacations but Valentina just couldn't get on the plane. It scared her too much. She looked back at Alexander and he was typing on his phone. It looked like he was doing something important because he had a serious look on his face. "Your highness?" Valentina called out with a bit of an attitude, and Alexander lifted his head and raised an eyebrow. "How long will the flight be?" she asked in a proper way this time. "It will be for about twelve hours, and you will have jet lag when we finally get there, so there will be no Royal activities for you to fulfill. Those activities will start in two weeks time." Charlotte, the flight attendant came back with their food and both of them began to eat in silence. Valentina didn't even want to talk to Alexander. He was acting as if he had known Kendra based on the few altercations he had been told about. Bringing up Kendra and thinking about her still hurt Valentina because she was just like her sister and they left things off terribly. “Your phone and social media will be monitored.” Valentina stopped eating immediately and dropped her fork loudly on the glass plate. "What do you mean? Why?" she asked and he looked up at her making her to take a sharp and long breath in. His face was still and it showed no emotions at all. The car stopped and Valentina was guessing that they had gotten to the Palace. She didn't feel nervous at all and she really didn't understand why. Alexander turned his head towards her before he spoke. "Your luggage is in your room. I will have maids sent to help you unpack,” he said. “No, that is fine. I want to unpack my luggage by myself," Valentina objected. “Okay, but I will still send the maids to introduce themselves,” he said and she nodded her head in agreement. He stepped out of the car and came to her side to open the door for her, then he put her hand in his and she got out of the car. A man in a black suit closed the car door and Alexander put his hand on Valentina's lower back. She could see the Palace and it amazed her. It was huge and so breathtaking that she had to stop and stare at it. The roof of the entire castle was black and it was so big that it looked like it had a hundred rooms. It was as if the room was made for Valentina. She didn't even want to touch it. It was so beautiful and it was definitely better then the one back home. The room was really big, and it had beautiful cream walls with tiny gold specs on them. There were two doors and she knew one of them led to the bathroom and the other to the closet. Her bed was so beautiful that she was scared to sleep in it. There was not enough black in this room but it was still gorgeous. The room was twice the size of her old room back in her house at her pack. There was a huge vanity that looked like it was made from the finest materials. It was placed in front of her bed and the mirror was so clear that she could see every detail of her bed's reflection. To the right of Valentina's room there was a huge window. She walked towards it and opened the gold and cream drapes as light from outside spilled into the room. From that point of view, she could see the car that she and Alexander just got out of. The

“Valentina, we don't have time for this," Alexander said in his usual deep tone that made Valentina to shiver.
