Chapter 26: A Brief Reunion
Mink's P.O.V:
Laughter.
I could hear it from here. Coming closer...so close now.
He was right behind me, chasing after me through the golden hued mountain meadows into the twilight. I kept my pace light, running at a slower pace, because I wanted him to catch me, to sweep me off my feet.
His dark brown hair was swept back by the breeze and kissed by the golden hues of the setting sun. His topaz eyes were filled with laughter as he chased after me. His face was forever etched into my mind, my heart and my soul. He looked like a prince from a faraway land who had left behind the confinements of his castle and come to chase after his little nomad princess. I couldn’t believe I’d been so lucky to have found him, in a land that had once been the cause of my nightmares, but now that land was a pleasant memory. A memory where a lone wolf found her other half.

Chapter 28: Finding a Way Mink's P.O.V: "You're trying to get rid of me?" He asked looking stunned. "That's beside the point; you're an Alpha and your Pack needs you now, more than ever. Chapter 2: White wolf Red. Under its paws. On the ground. Liquid red. Heat scorched the snow, although it wasn't enough to melt, it still obscured the purity of the grounds the wolf stood on. The human side would have wanted to question the intruders, but the wolf didn't understand reason, it believed in the most severe kind of judgment. It knew only to kill. To protect its own. Dead. Before they could even understand what was happening, all eight of them were lying on the ground drowning in their own blood. The temperature chilled. Snow began to fall again, heavily. Within a few hours, there will be no trace of the blood and gore, or the bodies. All that will be left would be clear, unadulterated, snow. And a wolf, just as white as the ground it stood on.
