Chapter 22

(Kate’s pov)

I’m giggling as Jake and I run up the stairs I’ve been waiting to get alone since we talked this afternoon. I fully trust our wolfs if something is bothering them then I know it is important. I’m also being a little selfish I can’t wait to be his completely. I want to feel his feelings and hear his thoughts. Most importantly we will be able to mind-link and if something does happen I need to be able to communicate with him.

“I’m going to get you baby and then I’m not letting you go the rest of the night!”

“Eck!”

Before I can get up the last few steps I’m lifted into the air and thrown over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. I here him growl and I giggle again.

“Put me down so I can open the door.”

“First thing in the morning we’re putting my hand print in this or I’m ripping it off.”

“Calm down you big bad wolf.”

I place my hand on the scanner and the door unlocks and before I can even take a step Jake tosses me on his shoulder again and walks through the door.
