CHAPTER FORTY-THREE

Selena’s POV

We remained in that position for quite a while as I stared at Alpha, wondering where he was heading to with the questions he kept throwing at me but a part of me also wanted to let him know that the kiss I shared with Raymond meant nothing and I never even wanted to kiss him in the first place… I just did it to suit the members of the pack.

“The kiss was nothing, I just had to play along and you know that” I replied and he growled again before he held my chin higher and I was looking at him directly in the eyes this time.

My heart was still beating fast because I didn't know what to expect from Alpha and his questions. The way he looked at me too was setting a fire and butterflies in my stomach and I knew I was already close to losing it if we went on this way.

“I don't care if you had to play along Selena, I want to know if you liked it or not,” he asked me again with fiercer eyes and I gulped before I opened my mouth to speak.

“I don't know Alpha, I was confused and d
