Selena’s POVMy head ached so badly when I woke up. I couldn't move for a while as my body hurt too but with a lot of struggle, I managed to get up and when my eyes adjusted to the place, I wasn't in the study again but in a room, this time and I wondered if it was Raymond that brought me here or if he ordered someone to do it.Sighing to myself, I came down from the bed and headed for the bathroom. Selena's POVI finished my lunch almost immediately I started eating and when I was done, I just sat on the bad and I looked around the room which lasted for probably hours. Selena's POVMy lids began to flicker as consciousness streamed back into me. Then I remembered everything that happened and how I got to be wherever I was now and I opened my eyes immediately before sitting up with a start.I was back in the room where Raymond had kept me before but this time, the huge windows opposite the bed were opened and the bright sunlight was streaming in.The brightness hurt my eyes and my head hurt too due to how fast I sat up and I figured it was because of the hit I got from Ava. Selena’s POVThe door opened and I quickly turned around to look and it was Raymond. He was still having a blank and indifferent look on his face and I could tell that he was obviously pissed at me.He dropped the clothing on the bed then he took a step back from me before he pointed at the clothes on the bed.“Those are the clothes that you wanted so badly,” he said while pointing at them and I didn't say a word to him as I picked them up from where he threw them then I looked at him, expecting him to get the hint and turn around or walk out of the room so I could dress up but he just looked back at me, not getting the message I was trying to pass through.“I need to dress up Raymond so you would have to look away or give me full privacy by leaving the room,” I told him, and still with a blank face, he turned around to walk out of the room but then he stopped and looked back at me.“Five minutes and I'm coming back in,” he said and with that, he walked out of the room.I made a face

Selena’s POVI was still screaming out in anger, I wanted to remain in denial that Alpha was actually gone but the glaring sight of his burnt-up body with ashes as remains couldn't get out of my head.I couldn't stop staring too and I couldn't bring myself to scream out my agony anymore. I wasn't numb but I didn't know how else to show my misery and how heavy my heart felt.Everyone was staring at me like I was crazy. They stared like I had lost my mind, because I was the only one crying and wailing for a person they assumed to be a criminal but what they didn't know was that they just killed their alpha. Selena’s POVI took one last look around me to be sure no one saw me come in and when I didn't catch any sight of anyone watching from a corner or the silhouette of anybody in the dark, I sighed in relief because that was one step in getting Raymond out of the way down. All I had to do now was to find my way into the palace discreetly and get a silver knife while making sure no one would see me.Making sure my footsteps were silent, I dashed into the palace through the back passage and I made sure to watch for anyone’s presence in case I was to bump into anybody while making my way into the palace. The passage hadn't been used for years so there was a high possibility that I won't run into a single soul until I got to my destination but I didn't want to take any chances. I still made sure I was alert, careful, and watchful so I would knock anyone that saw me out immediately before he or she would throw a fuss or cause an alarm by calling for others… I couldn't risk letting my plan get
