CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

Selena's POV

I and Raymond still shared a look and I wondered what was running through his mind at that moment. I wondered about what he could possibly be thinking about and I wondered if my and Lily's plan was working.

I took another sip from my wine before I gently returned the glass to the table then I looked at him.

“As I said, I wanted to surprise you…” then I stopped before leaning in closer to him so he would get a strong wisp of my perfume and I took my lips closer to his ear.

“And I thought about everything carefully. Let's just say I decided to stick to the side that would benefit me” I whispered in his ear so no one would know what we were talking about then I pulled back from him and he was looking at me with eyes full of surprise. Just the reaction I expected to see when I told him what I just said.

“Are you serious Selena? You aren't pulling my legs, are you? Have you really forgotten about everything and decided to work with me?” He asked me so many questions at a time
