CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

Selena's POV

I heard the voices around me first once I began to wake, then I opened my eyes and when I looked around, I was still in Raymond's room. I took my time to sit up in the bed before I touched the back of my head and it wasn't hurting anymore so I felt relieved.

Then I heard footsteps from behind me and when I turned around, it was Raymond.

I inched away from him on the bed immediately he tried to get closer to me once he saw I was awake and when he noticed that I still wouldn't let him come close to me, he stopped with a defeated look and he took a seat on a chair opposite the bed.

He looked at me and I looked back at him too with suspicion in my eyes because I couldn't tell what was going on in his head and what he planned to do to me now that I was awake and failed to kill him or myself.

“Are you going to kill me now Raymond? Just like you killed alpha” I asked and he sighed before he shook his head and looked back at me.
