Selena’s POV

I was at a loss for words to say to Raymond after he asked me to marry him. I was still trying to figure out if he really meant it or if he was just pulling my feet even though he had confirmed my doubt and told me that he was serious. It was hard to accept because I had never expected him to ask me that ever since I found out he was betraying the pack. It felt unreal and unbelievable for him to ask me to marry him regardless of the fact that we were once dating and I didn’t want it, I never even thought of that happening between us from the start and if he thought that I was going to say yes to him and marry him then he was definitely deceiving himself.

We may be mates as the moon goddess had ordained but he wasn't the only one who was my mate until he killed alpha which meant I had a choice back then. Even the moon goddess was being considerate to give me a choice because of the kind of person Raymond turned out to be but even though alpha was gone and Raymond was the o
