The Female Wolf Hunter

"Come on run faster," I said, holding Julietta's hand running out of the pack house and into the woods.

I couldn't stay there, especially now that he knows who I am and what I've done.

 

I can't believe I was so careless, the plan was to go in complete my mission and then leave but not only did I stay longer than I was suppose to, but I ended up falling inlove with him and by extension jeopardizing my mission.

"Why do you have to be so stupid Myrah! Dad would definitely be disappointed in you!" I scolded myself, triple taping on my watch, sending an emergency alert to my family who I'm pretty sure were already by the pack borders waiting for me to give them the attack signal.

 

"Myra why are we running? Where are we going?" Julietta breathlessly asked while we ran into the woods.

It was midnight and the moon was shining brightly above us which clearly gave me the feeling that I would get caught sooner or later especially with the fact that my family wasn't responding.

 

" We are going back home princess," I responded a little out of breath too but not because I was tired but because I was afraid.

Afraid of getting caught, I knew for a fact that if they caught me then I would lose my life and most importantly, I would lose Julie.

"Wait stop," Julietta stopped running and I had to stop as well, "I don't want to leave, I like it here! I want to stay here please Myra," she pleaded.

"No Julie we can't stay, it's dangerous!" I said sternly but---

"Myra!!" a voice I knew too well growled! Startling me and Julie who instantly clung on to me while we both looked at him

Brian!

 

" It has always been you, right? You are the B***h that killed my parents and my little sister! It's because of you that my life got messed up!" He growled out again his eyes glowing a dark red showcasing that his wolf was ok the surface and out for blood,

I tightly held on too Julie and shook my head responding,

" No I didn't do it! I didn't, it was all Alpha Damien," I tried to defend myself but he just growled giving me the same look that he gave his enemies, which clearly told me that I was two steps away from my grave.

He had his claws out with his canines elongated and his eyes were as dark as the night.

I knew for sure that he wasn't going to listen to me and the only way out of this was to fight.

I pushed Julie behind me then took out my wolf's bane laced bow and arrow pointing at him.

A few more growls resounded all around me followed by werewolves in all shapes and sizes surrounding me and Julie.

"I'm not going to spare you today Myrah! I will make you pay for what you did to my parents! Even though you are my mate, I will make sure you go through hell!" He growled again followed by shifting into his wolf and baring his teeth at me, taking a fighting stance.

I knew I wasn't going to get out of this alive but I wasn't going to back down without a fight either, because a Cross never backs down without a fight!
