"This will be your room."

The old lady wearing a huge scowl on her face throwed her words with annoyance.

Ilaria weakly nodded and glanced around the wooden cracked room. "You won't be getting any uniform infact you'll have to work, immediately. Be at the main pack house by 10. Don't be late." She stated and left her alone.

Her eyes flickered around to see the room was basically empty; just a small bucket was placed in the far corner to relief her bladder.

The whole area was covered in thick dust and cobwebs. She gulped down the lump forming in her throat.

This room didn't look like a maids quarter instead it looked like a cell with an exception -- a window.

Suddenly a streak of sweat rolled down her face in anxiety. "How will I find the pack house?" She questioned herself.

Without wasting any time Ilaria bolted out of the room. Her battered bare feet led through the secluded and quiet hallways. Finally arriving at the open entrance, she walked out of the building and was instantly pressured.

Clutching the fabric of her knee length shirt tightly, she hung her head in embarrassment. The people in the open field pinned her down with their heated stares.

"I heard she is the Rouge who trespassed."

"The Alpha definitely won't leave her walking, he hates Rouges out of all."

"She'll face his and his loved ones wrath."

"Poor girl, looks dead already."

They murmured amongst themselves without any shame. "What are you standing here for? The head maid is waiting for the past 12 mins." A feminine voice was heard beside her making her shriek in response. Tilting her head, she saw a tall girl standing in the shortest piece of checkered skirt. "What are you starring at, Rouge?" The girl hissed and Ilaria instantly looked away.

"Lets go." The girl sighed and walked to the opposite side with Ilaria following behind, her orbs fixed on the ground. As they passed the people and the huge houses, she barely glanced at her surroundings.

After a few twist and turns, they finally arrived at the mansion like pack house. Entering, Ilaria finally looked up. A silent gasp left her mouth as her gaze darted around the expensive interior. Creamy walls filled with various paintings. Heavy embedded lights adorned the rooftop. A sweet yet sweaty air. "Come, don't gawk like a dying fish." Ilaria's shifted her curious attention back to the girl's back.

They both marched towards the kitchen.

Halting in her steps, she saw the very same lady barking orders at the other maids. "Ma'am Hailey, I've brought her."

Hailey tilted her head and sneered, "Didn't I say not be late?"

Ilaria cowered away from the rudeness. "Ma'am, she was probably lost." The checkered girl told her off with a wave. "Whatever Kyla, just tell her about her chores and then, go back to your work. Also a special guest will be arriving tomorrow and I want everything tidy and spotless." Hailey stated and went back to supervising the other workers.

"As you now, I'm Kyla. One of the workers, here. About your chores, you'll swipe the floors clean, wash the dishes, help anyone if needed. But firstly, clean the hallway area next to library which is on the fourth floor. Also, no one is allowed to enter Alpha's mansion which is separate from the eleven pack houses unless and until it's Alpha's most trusted maids." She paused for a second to grab a chunk of breath but nevertheless continued, "If you want to live than stay away from the Alpha and his people. Each and every person in this kingdom is strong and powerful. You'll not be able to face their anger. Do you understand, Rouge?" Kyla's honey colored orbs ranked up and down her body, as if she was silently warning her.

She hesitantly nodded.

"Great. Here is the cloth, soapy liquid and fresh water bucket. Wipe the floors cleans and tidy. It should be spotless." Kyla handed over the materials to her with a tight lipped frown. Grabbing them with immense difficulty, she turned around. But before she could take the next step, she stilled at the question Kyla asked, "Your name?"

Clutching the handle tightly, she shook her head and replied hoarsely, "I-Ilaria. "

Without hearing her response, Ilaria hastily walked off to her destination.

Arriving at the hallways, she finally placed the heavy supplies on the floor and leaned herself on the wall.

"Name? Alpha? Pack? E-Even now, I'm just.. a mere rouge to a certain s-someone."
