Ace watched the report before him and his brows knitted in a frown.

He tapped the table, his lips pressed into a thin line as his blood boiled.

Ace wanted to ignore it. He felt like it was the little star's life, and he didn't have to get involved. But his fingers still picked up his phone, dialed his assistant's line, and placed the phone to his ear.

"Keep William in check. If he dares make Brewster cry again..." he left the rest of his word unsaid.

The assistant immediately got the message and ended the call.

Ace dropped the phone. His eyes remained chilled as he closed his laptop and stood up from his seat.

He walked over to the bag he brought, put on a pair of black suit pants, and a shirt.

He styled his hair quickly and walked out of the room.

His mind blared. Thoughts swirling around as he tried to convince himself that this was the right thing to do.

The little star was his, and it was his right to make sure the little star was always happy.
