Knight
Knight watched as his son-to-be brother-in-law stormed out of the dining hall. Badger’s snort brought him out of his trace. He turned to look at him.
“He’s a kind of a bitch,” Badger said.
“Disrespectful,” Ash chimed in. It was classic Ash to grunt out one word comments on what was happening around him. Blade grunted in agreement.
“Knight, you gonna put him in his place?” Badger concluded.
Knight glanced at his friends. “Don’t sweat the small stuff,”
“Small stuff?” Badger snorted. He threw a hand towards the doorway. “He just basically called us predators. It’s like he’s never hung out with the boys before.”
“I admire it,” Knight said. “He’s clear on what is okay and not okay. More than I can say for Anderson Blueheart.”
Knight had met with Anderson Blueheart a few times in the process of setting up his marriage with Blueheart’s niece. He was a shifty guy who never was set in his beliefs. He’d say one thing then completely shift and say something else based on Knight’s response to the first thing he’d said.
Knight admired how Ethan was stern in his beliefs. He was already proving to be far easier to work with than his father. It was something that the largest pack in the territory could use. Furthermore, with the addition of the Blueheart pack, the Darkmoon pack would gain access to the sea. They’d become invincible. It was a suggestion that Knight had brought to his father to prove his ambition.
Alpha Darkmoon was incredibly proud of his son and granted him the marriage to the Blueheart girl. But Knight’s ambition didn’t stop there. He wanted to join all the packs in the territory and claim them on his own. Knight wants to be the King of the Alphas. In order to do that, he’d continue to expand his pack’s land until the smaller packs had no choice but to follow the Darkmoon pack’s rules.
Blueheart was the first step, in Knight’s eyes, and it was already his. He could care less who Riley Blueheart was and what she looked like. He’d be respectful of her, of course, but she was just a ploy in his plan.
Ethan, how ever, could be a future ally. If Knight showed him respect, Ethan could wind up backing him in return. All it took was teaching Ethan a few of his tricks, and Knight would have half the territory under his thumbs.
Riley
I found my dorm room and crashed for the entire rest of the day, completely exhausted. The next morning, I dragged my still sore body out of bed and to my first class. It was endurance training.
I’d been a fairly fit girl back at home. I ran regularly and made sure my cardio-vascular fitness was high. Despite this, I still didn’t know if it would be enough. I trudged across the campus and back into the place where I’d fought with Knight the day before.
I’d learned that the atrium was the gymnasium and would be where most of our training would take place. That morning, there wax’s mainly first years in the gym.Major stood in the middle of the room, hands still on his hips.
“Move along, Blueheart,” he snapped. “You’re late.”
Great, I thought to myself. Another person to piss off. I scrambled across the gym and stood in the back of the crowd, hidden behind a few of the other first-years. Major raised his eyebrow at me but went back to pacing.
“Right then,” he said. “This morning, we’ll be doing a ten kilometer run. It’ll go through the woods outside of the school and be led by one of our top third-years, Badger Highmoon.”
My stomach sunk down to my toes as Badger came out from the locker rooms. He’d traded in his crisp shirts for training shirts and training shoes. His sandy brown hair was shoved off his face and he wore a sickly smirk.
“Badger will be in charge of leading,” Major said. “Don’t pass him and don’t—“ Major made sure to look directly at me. “—get left behind.”
I swallowed thickly. I had to keep up. I had to make sure I got through this school, whether they wanted me to or not.
“Right then,” Major said. “Begin.”
Badger took off out of the gym and the crowd of students followed him. I hung in the back, keeping pace with them but pushing myself to be able to do so. Badger darted out of the buildings and took off into the forest. I kept pushing myself to keep up with them all.
About half way into the run, my lungs were burning as I tried to keep up with everyone. Slowly, the pack faded away and into the forest. I kept my legs going, fighting to keep up. Suddenly, I was slammed into by someone. I stumbled to the ground and landed face down in the dirt. My ankle burned.
I rolled on my back, ready to absolutely destroy whoever or whatever had attacked me. I looked up to see Badger sneering down at me.
“The hell?” I exclaimed.
“You may have Knight fooled,” Badger sneered. “But I know what you really are. A low-level, pussy-ass bitch who scammed his way into this school.”
I opened my mouth to fire back but Badger took off. The rest of the class followed after him, glancing at me like I was nothing more than a nuisance. I pushed myself back onto my feet ad then continued behind them back to the school.
I wound up being the last one into the locker room. It was less than ideal given that, to shower, I’d have to not only unbind my chest, but get fully naked. I shuffled back over to the locker I had been granted that morning. Then, Knight filed in and stood directly next to me. He must’ve had class after me and was coming in to change.
He gave me a half a look before he peeled his shirt over his head and — oh my…
Knight Darkmoon was the most beautiful man I’d ever seen. He was stunning from head to toe and all the bare bits of him in between me that I could see. My heart was pounding in my chest and I could barely contain the desire I had to reach out and run my fingers down the ridges of his abs. But I kept it together as best I could.
I’d never felt these intense of feelings and desires before. The fated mate bond was truly the strongest bond to exist. I swallowed thickly and opened my locker. I shrugged my shirt over my head to reveal my undershirt hiding my binding.
I propped my locker open even more to shrug my shirt off. I’d decided I was going to shower in my room and all I needed to do was put on my day clothes and I’d be fine. I quickly made work of my shorts and then I was standing in was my binding wrap and the pair of men’s underwear I’d taken from Ethan. Though, I couldn’t see anyone behind my locker room. Then, I heard Knight clear his throat. I froze.
“Ethan,” he said. “You smell…different.”
“What a dickwad that guy is!” Sophia exclaimed as we made it back to my dorm room. Luckily for us, Knight was still missing from his bed. It gave us the entire room to scheme about how we’d make it through the night.“He’s awful,” Ethan agreed. He turned to me. “You weren’t kidding.”I scoffed. “Nope,” I said. “He’s had it out for me since day one.”“It’s odd,” Ethan mused. “The Highmoon pack is very close to the Darkmoon pack. I would’ve expected Badger to be far more inviting than he’s being.”“It’s not like Darkmoon’s been exactly inviting either,” I mumbled.“He invited himself to touch your junk,” Sophia said. Ethan gave me a pointed looked. I looked back at Sophia. She shrugged.“I filled Ethan in on the way,”“I can’t believe you made him touch your manhood,” Ethan grumbled. “Now there’s really going to be rumors about me.”“I don’t think so,” I said with a shake of my head. “Knight was pretty distressed by the whole thing as well. He apologized to me last night in the showers.
KnightHe kept his eyes facing forwards the entire time he was in the shower. Knight had already pressed his luck with Ethan and wasn’t trying to do it again. He’d felt all he needed to know about Ethan’s gender. But there was that smell again…Knight bit down hard on his tongue to keep the slight moan from escaping his lips. Lust had washed over him in an unnatural way, surging at the tips of his fingers. He felt a knot tightening in the space just below his navel..Don’t look, don’t look, he repeated in his head. The situation was becoming increasingly uncomfortable, again. The wolf within him was screaming that this was Knight’s fated mate. Yet, Knight knew that to be untrue. He didn’t think he’d be able to contain himself around Ethan at other points of the day if they were mates. So why in the shower? Why then?Knight really wanted to just chalk it up to his attraction and confusion about Ethan. Ethan was stunningly beautiful to Knight. He really still wondered if Ethan could be
RileyKnight’s hand was still on my – well, Ethan’s penis – as I finally caught my breath. We were still locked eye-to-eye and hand to … cock.Knight swallowed thickly. He gently moved his hand back from my crotch and shoved it in his back pocket. He sighed before turning around and removing his gaze from mine.I immediately was relieved and thanked the Gods above for having Ethan send me the fake penis. I’d immediately shoved it in my trousers as soon as I stopped feeling weird about it and, somehow, it had wound up saving me.His back was to me as he rubbed his jaw. He looked genuinely distressed. I sighed deeply and ran a hand through my hair.“No,” I said, softly. “No, I’m not.”“I can tell,” Knight choked out.His voice was certainly strained, though I couldn’t tell why. He rummaged through one of the drawers in his desk then turned back to me. In his hand was a beautiful, black pendant. It was much like the one he left on his nightstand every night. But this one was even more be
“Do you think I should get her something?” Knight asked me as we returned to our room.“For tomorrow?” I asked.“Yeah,” Knight nodded. “I figured it would be nice. If you want to come with me, I’d appreciate the help in knowing what she likes.”“Yeah, course” I nodded. It wasn’t like I had anything else to do. And who better to pick out gifts for me than well… me?“Alright then mate,” Knight clapped his hand on my shoulder. I fought to keep from shuddering as the electricity surged through me. Knight was unphased. “Grab your wallet and we’ll head into town.”I nodded and pushed into our room to grab my stuff. Thirty minutes later Knight and I arrived in the small town next to the school. It was quaint but had an air of aristocracy about it. The first shop Knight led me into had a bunch of flowers.Knight slowly walked through the flowers before landing on a bunch of black roses that had an accompanying box of dark chocolates. I immediately wrinkled my nose at the thought of the bitter
Knight gave me a once over before he closed the door to our room behind him and walked further in. He nodded at me once before going to his desk and dropping his bag. I was entirely confused and my heart was beating rapidly as I tried to figure out if he could sense that I was not Ethan but his future fiancé.“So how familiar are you with Alpha Blueheart’s daughter?” Knight mused, still messing about on his desk.“Alpha Blueheart doesn’t have a daughter,” I said quickly. Ethan had no sisters.“Apologies,” Knight said, standing to look at me. He wore a smirk on his lips and had a slightly raised eyebrow. “The former Alpha Blueheart.”My father.Knight was asking about me. Again.“Oh,” I said softly. “Riley? My cousin?”“Yes, your cousin,” Knight went on before rummaging through his desk. He looked over his shoulder slightly then focused back on his desk before speaking.“Apparently you look quite alike,”“Our fathers were twins,” I said.It wasn’t a lie per say, but it wasn’t the whole
I stared at the penis blankly. How was this supposed to help me!?Was I supposed to use it…for pleasure? I shuddered and dropped the thing back in the box. Ethan and I didn’t discuss those types of things much, if at all. I couldn’t figure out why he’d even think I’d want that. Then, I remembered the locker room. All of the men were walking around with members very similar to the one sitting in the box in front of me. It hit me that I was supposed to use the giant fake penis as a surrogate for the one I should have.I scrambled across my room and pulled out my potion that I had been using to masculinize myself more. I dropped a bit of it on the fake penis and watched as the member turned incredibly lifelike. I gasped and slammed the top of the box shut, scared of what I was seeing.“Ethan, you smart man,” I breathed to myself.A while later, I walked into the dining hall for breakfast. It seemed as though my attack on Knight had spread across the school like wildfire. All of the Alpha
