Chapter 5

I woke up to the noise around me it’s as if someone is walking back and forth. I groaned. I opened my eyes and was shocked to see that almost all of Hela’s dress are on the air.

“Sorry did I wake you up?”

“Yes.” I don’t want to lie and it’s not like she’ll get offended.

“Sorry someone asked me out so I’m nervous and I don’t have anything to wear. What do you think? “At once she floated the green dress towards me.

“It’s okay. You’re pretty so everything you wear is for you.“ she smiled at me.

“But I think you should choose the red one? It suits you.“ she nodded and returned all the belongings to her closet.

I looked at the side table and there was a letter there. “Who did this come from?”

“Must be from the school, you know they like giving students a head up.” My forehead frowned at the letter.

Good day student!

Today is the first day of class, please wear the most comfortable outfit.

P.S. Girls, don’t wear dress as for boys don’t wear shorts.

“Why don’t you dress up?”

She just winked at me. “You’ll know for now take a shower. The shower is just below our floor. “

I nodded and immediately went down so as not to be late for breakfast. But to my dismay many bathed.

And I see a guy coming out of the girls shower ?!

I touched the woman next to me. “Aren’t they supposed to be on their own shower room?”I teach those who come out there.

“You weren’t informed? That’s theirs too. “

“What ?! Can it be? How about privacy? “

“There aren’t as many women and men here, it’s okay, just lock the door.”He said and went in there as well. Do I need to take a bath? I can just take a bath tonight I guess? For not too many people?

I was just surprised that almost all the students outside had already entered the shower room.

“Shit! Guys! Thirty minutes before breakfast! “A woman shouted, almost all of them panicked so I wondered again. Maybe I should have read their handbook? Why do I look like a lost dog here? And why are they running?

“Hey Iris!” I was suddenly encouraged when I saw Mnemosyne.

“Hey ... ahm why are they running?” She chuckled. “It’s thirty minutes before breakfast and if someone’s gonna be late will be punished.” I suddenly turned pale. It’s my first day here and I don’t want to be punished! That’s a disgrace to our family. Gosh what am I supposed to do?

“Come here I know a place.” she suddenly pulled me so I did nothing.

Are we running into a hotel ?!

“Why are we here ?!”

“Just take a shower.” She said cockily as if she’s doing it every day.

“Hi Marcos! My friend Iris, can we just take a shower? “The man just nodded and went back to what he was doing.

“Uno’s family owns this hotel and he said that it’s okay.” I just nodded and entered a room. It’s better here. With privacy unlike on our dorms you can be overlooked anytime.

I exited the cr. I am now wearing boots and jeans because we don’t wear a dress. I wasn’t surprised that Mnemo was wearing the same.

We ran to the dining hall and there was a timer above the building! Three minutes left! I sighed good thing we reached. I sat at Hela’s table first since I haven’t been assigned yet.

“Good you arrived.”Hela greeted us. Mnemo just smirked at her while I just shrugged. I’m still shock.

“Holy shit! Where are you doing, marathon miss? “My cousin teasing me. I just glared at him.

“It’s okay señorita ... That’s really how life is.” He even caressed my hair while smirking. So what I did was I took his hand and squeezed. He screamed in pain so those with us turned to us.

“What happened?” Hela asked.

I didn’t answer her, let my cousin explain how he looked.

“Time’s up, close the doors and search those students who wasn’t able to enter and detain them we’ll talk about punishment later.”A woman spoke in front of us. Her face is soothing but her aura screams danger. Her voice was etched with strictness.

“That’s Miss. M short for Minerva. She hates late comers. “Said Hela. I nodded. You hate so much. I think the word hate is a big word. Can’t you dislike first?

“Today, the class finally continued as we welcome new comers in our school. I expect you to be on your best behaviors. “She said with a smile but there’s something suspicious about that smile.

“Freshmen please be seated in this first table. And so on so forth. “We immediately stood up and went to our table. I have to look to Hela and Mnemo again. They just smiled at me.

When I sat in the chair suddenly someone stood beside me. I looked shocked because I saw the girl from earlier.

“You’re the girl earlier right?” I nodded. “Oh gosh! Nice to see you. I thought I would see no familiar face. I was separated with my friends. “

“Ah, me too.”

If they can be called friends Hela maybe right? We’re roommates. And Uno seems to be fine with me. I guess they’re my friends ...
