I felt numb, hallow, my pit felt like it was swallowing me whole. I ran all the way back in, towards my room. How could he do this? I thought… I thought he loved me, I guess I was just projecting my own feelings. I was foolish yet again… I knew he would hurt me, but I let his sweet words lull me in.
