"I'm sorry miss, I didn't recognize you. Please forgive my mistake." The man named Dave pleaded with me.

His face which had looked haughty earlier now suddenly disappeared and was replaced with nervousness, if in the end he would quickly change his attitude, it shouldn't be inappropriate to be so haughty. Truly a typical fool who has no pride and is arrogant just for having a little power.

I turned my gaze away from him. I looked at the two people in front of me, who seemed to have controlled their shock.

Catherine looked at me sarcastically. "Dave, what are you apologizing to that woman for? She's just pretending." She tried to pull Dave's hand so that he would turn to her. But Dave pushed her hand away firmly.

"Dave!" Catherine snapped at him. "She's just fooling you, believe me!"

I watched their commotion quietly, smiling faintly because having them no longer on the same page was quite funny.

Dave's forehead twitched, and he turned to Catherine in annoyance. "You're the one who sh
