I finished my work faster than usual. No, not quicker. There has been a slight change in my schedule lately since Vanessa's return.

Yes, Vanessa has been a pivotal part of my daily life, shifting in directions I hadn't done in years because of the void she created.

Now that the position had seen its owner again, my subconscious moved faster than I realized.

"Soon, it looks like it's going to come out," I mumbled with my head resting on the steering wheel and my gaze fixed on the large gray building in front of me.

I made a new rule in my job. I was known as a workaholic who didn't care about time and kept working. Then now, people in my company looked at me strangely when I refused to work close to office hours and said, "It's time to go home. I'm going home."

They might wonder, but of course, I won't explain. For what reason would I explain it? And why do I need to explain the pleasure I have when I have no intention of sharing this pleasure with anyone?
