Chapter Four

SELENE POV

Kai shrilled when she saw me, her hands flying to the air as she comes to hug me. Let's just say it's been a while since I saw her and with the whole romance going on between her and Leon, they took a trip to Bora Bora and just came back. I hope he makes her happy because if he breaks her heart, I'll kill him.

"Baby girl! You look so good!" I squeak and she kisses both my cheeks.

"You too." She said and take few steps back. "My, look at you. Fabrico let you leave the house like that?" Her eye run up and down my black handless gown that stopped on my thighs and clung to my body like a second skin.

"He's not even home yet," I say so plainly.

"You guys are ok right?" Her eyes held full concern and I hug her again, smiling. I don't want to ruin this night with any sad stories or bad thoughts so I just grip her hand and pull her into the bar instead. The bodyguard and driver that Fabrico assigned for me remained in the car. I won't have him monitor me the whole night.

"We're here to have fun and a girl's night that we haven't had for ages!" Kay chuckled and slid into a stool by the bar counter. "Martini please and keep it coming" she winked at the bartender and he smiled going away. "Now tell me everything... what's been going on?"

"No, I should ask you how your trip to Bora Bora was?" I retaliate and Kay goes into a dream state with smiles all over her face.

"It was magical. We explored so many places on the island, and did you know Leon has a house on there? My God! It was lovely. This month has been the best of my life and I wished it didn't end" she pouted and I rub her hands. The bartender comes back with our drinks and I grab the glass quickly downing the content.

"Slow down, girl. We've got all night" she laughed and I roll my eyes. I needed that. "How's Freya?"

"She's fine. You know she never sleeps without me putting her to bed so I had to do that before leaving"

"Awww...look at you being such a mom" she chuckled.

"How's Junior?"

"He's a big boy now and he just loves his grandma's so much so he's there right now"

I laugh. Don't all kids love their grandma's house?

We talk randomly about everything and nothing, laughing our asses off and being funny. My eyes were red with tears and my throat husky from laughing too much.

My phone vibrates and I check to see a text from Fabrico.

Where are you? I check the time to see it's past twelve. "We should probably head out" I suggest.

"Fabrico called you?"

"No. He texted" we help each other out of the bar while still laughing and stumbling. Dolan rushed out of the car to assist me and I wave him off. "We'd drop my friend here at home First," I say and he nods before opening the door for us.

"Oh, fancy" Kay giggled and I hold her arm, leaning on it.

I stumble up the stairs until I'm inside the confines of my bedroom. The lights are all on and I'm wondering if Fabrico isn't asleep yet. He's not in the bedroom or the bathroom so I decided to go to the one last place he might be. Freya's room.

The door is slightly opened so I just peep in to see him lying on the bed, her tiny frame cradled in his big one and I smile warmly at the sight. Later today, Fabrico is traveling to San Fransisco and won't be back for maybe a week or two and I'm scared to death because it's the first time he's away for that long since we had Freya.

I close the door tightly and walk to the bed, I lay on the left side and throw my arms around Freya's tummy but it touched Fabrico, making him stir then he woke up.

"Hey honey" I smile before kissing his cheek.

"You're drunk?" His brows quirked up and I shake my head.

"Just grabbed a couple of drinks with Kay," I say, Freya moved under my arms and I shush up so she doesn't wake up. Fabrico gets up from the bed and comes to carry me up, I squeak, covering my mouth.

"Let's go to bed" he whispered in my ear as we both crept out of Freya's room like teenagers, shutting the door behind us. Fabrico drops me on the bed discarding my tiny piece of clothing immediately and I giggle because I can't help my drunk ass. He shakes his head before lowering his head to kiss my now exposed breast. "I'm going to miss you" he mumbled against my neck.

"I'll always be a call away" I try to cheer him up and he huffed.

"I wish I could take you with me"

"You know I can't. I've got a job and we can't just travel and leave Freya"

"I know" he breathes out, the air tickling my neck and I giggle some more. "You're so ticklish"

"Hmm," I smile and start rolling his sweatpants down his waist. I won't be seeing him for a week or two, might as well make the most of the time he's here. What's irking me is that the secretary of his will be with him the entire time. I brush the thought out of my head so I don't ruin the moment.

I hurry out of my clothing, my eyes shut and savoring every moment of Fabrico's tongue on my skin and the way he draws many moans from me out of sheer pleasure, and my eyes roll to the back. He makes his way down until his head is nestled between my thighs and I arch my back moaning his name. His fingers join his mouth down there, working to bring me to ecstasy.

Kay dropped by my office with two mugs of hot coffee and I smile when the sweet caffeine smell hit my nostrils. I reach forward to collect one cup. "You know you don't have to do this every time you come here" I smile.

"I enjoy doing it. Besides, you make a good coffee buddy" Kay grinned making me chuckle. "So the men have traveled huh?"

Yeah, Kay informed me earlier that Leon was going with them.

"More time for us to hang out then" Kay suddenly squeaked.

"Nuh-uh" I shake my head. "I have a one-year-old to watch after. I can't just party every night"

"It must not be every day" Kay rolled her eyes. "We could just pick a day we'll go out. Maybe tonight could be one of the days" she grinned like crazy. "And you can invite Vanessa. I'm sure she'd love to come"

Huh, "Not sure. And we don't talk much but she's a nice girl" I pout.

"She's dating Liano right?"

"Not sure what those two are anymore" I sigh, relaxing into my seat and drinking the last of my coffee. A knock on my office door makes me jump in my seat before I curse.

My secretary comes in with a doe look on her face. "A man is here to see you," She said.

"Do I know him?" I ask with furrowed brows. I'm not a fan of unknown guests.

"Not sure" she craned her neck. "He said his name is Jake" She informed me and I cringe. Ok, maybe that startled me a little bit. I arrange my crumpled dress before walking to the door. Kay followed behind but stops at her office while I take the elevator down to the first floor.

"Did he state what his business was?" I ask Penny, my secretary.

"He said it was important and he had a deal to offer"

"Then we should've met in the conference room" I reprimand her with a frown.

"I did suggest that but he said not yet," Penny said and it only made me more curious to know who this man was and what his deal was about. I step out of the elevator, raising my head high as I walk around the corner to the front desk and I sight him. The man Penny was talking about. His back is to me and he has on a dark suit and a whitish mop of like jack frost, but it's a bit darker like gold.

"Excuse me?" I clear my throat and he turns around, his hands in his pocket and when I see his face, my breath catches in my throat. Something about his thick jaw and blue eyes reminds me of Blake but this guy looks different, organized, and has his shit together. It can't be Blake. Even if it was Blake, he's been missing from the Asylum for a year plus now. It can't be him.

"Hello Mrs. Valenquez" he smirked and I squeeze my fist.
