Chapter Thirty Five[Final Chapter]

The room I wake up in is white and I feel a strong tugging at my arm before my eyes flutter open and realize I'm in a hospital room. Then came the memory of me lying on the floor of the house with smoke all over the place, with Fabrico running in through the doors with a cotton jacket on and dashing towards me. His faint words as I pass out were "stay with me. Selene, come on, please. Stay with me baby"

I move on the bed trying to sit up when I hear movement beside me and Kay's face looms above me, a smile overtaking her face. "You're ok" she gasped before ringing the bell on the bedside.

She helps me sit up and I take the wires out of my body, my hand rubbing my forehead. I'm wearing a blue hospital gown then my eyes roam the room. It's only Kay here. Two nurses entered, checking my temperature and all that. "All good says one"

"What happened?" I ask.

"You inhaled a lot of smoke. You're lucky it didn't affect your lungs much, we able to treat some minor injuries as well as some burns
