Chapter Thirty

Kay tapped her red bottom heels on the floor impatiently as we waited in front of the gym, for Jake to appear. We've been here for about thirty minutes and no sign of him. She stared into the gym house at some of the guys working out by the corner and I catch her bottom lip between her teeth before she licked her lips.

"Well, if someone saw you now, they'd think you didn't have a man in your life," I tell her and she cackles, flinging her blonde hair over her shoulder.

"It's just amusing to see a lot of shirtless guys in one place and working out...look at all that sweat dripping..."
