33. Her Doubts

She silently watched as her grandparents entered the airport along with the private nurse and her grandfather's secretary. She sighed unhappily when she couldn't see them anymore. She couldn't wait to see them until their scheduled return three months later.

"Let's go, Jacyn." She looked back at Liam, whom she found looking at her intently.

"Do you think everything will be okay?" She asked him, doubts clouding her mind. She was still uncertain of what the future holds.

"Of course, don't you trust me?" Liam frowned at her. This girl doesn't trust him enough.

Jacyn looked down shyly. She was left with no other choice but to depend on this man. If she could only start all over again, she wouldn't be as daring as before. She could have planned well and avoided getting the attention of the enemy that early. But it happened already, all she could do now is hope that it was not yet too late.

"I should put my trust in you, right? As if I have a choice." Those words just slipped out of her
