Damon

The SUV came to a halt at the driveway of the house. How long has it been since I was here? Two weeks. That seemed like a long time. I was surprised that the pack was still in one piece. Well, not that surprising because my father was in charge. He would know how to handle everything.

The songs of the crickets grew louder as I stepped out of the car. I wonder what I was going to tell Sophie when I got inside. I was certain that she was worried for days. I hadn’t been able to communicate with her because I’d been stuck in the hospital and chasing Isaiah. It was all too much but that excuse won’t be enough to get me out of the trouble that was coming.

The purple skies free darker as twilight faded away slowly. Night was fast approaching, and it was time I got some rest. It’s been a long two weeks. Longer than I’d imagined.

As I walked towards the house, the door swung open and Sophie stepped out. Sis was dressed in a white gown with her blonde hair falling down her shoulders. H

RohanDinner was quiet. Maybe that was because of the awkwardness spinning around us. I could barely keep my eyes on Anna, well Jarred couldn’t keep his eyes off Stella. There was something about those two that I didn’t quite understand yet. This was the first time I’d seen Jarred interested in someone. Normally, his eyes were filled with lust, but as he looked at Stella right now, the only thing that was in them was genuine affection. But the most ironic part was that Stella didn’t seem to care. She was focused on her meal, and also at Anna, glancing at her at intervals to ensure she was eating. The silence was becoming morbid by the minute, but I did enjoy Stella’s Parmesan. Stella was also quiet which was so unlike her. She was always chatty and always had a big sense of humor. But tonight alone that seemed absent. Maybe I was the one who was making everybody uncomfortable. I shouldn’t have come inside. I should have gone home and had a proper shower. Tomorrow was a big day. It

  • The Forgotten Luna   Chapter Ninety-Four

DamonI dried my hair vigorously with the towel as I stepped out. I’ve never felt so relieved in a long time. The battle with Isaiah had been one of the best actions I’ve had in a long time. It was still a bit surprising that none of us had been able to take the other down permanently. I felt that deep down, Isaiah didn’t want the fight to end. Perhaps he had been enjoying it as much as I did. That was the difference. I was fighting to kill him while he was fighting for pleasure. I couldn’t forget that he had taken down all three of us in the opera like we were nothing. Another reason he had been able to do that was that we hadn’t been coordinated. We were all after the glory. Well, only me. Dayton had been propelled by rage to attack while Rohan only attacked because he felt threatened. We were all wrong, and that was why he had lost woefully. I was surprised by this insight. Wow. A good shower could make you do anything. I dressed up in a few pairs of clothes. A black shirt and so

  • The Forgotten Luna   Chapter Ninety-Three

RohanI stood on the porch of Anna’s house contemplating whether I should go in. It was dark now, and the crickets sang loudly. I shouldn’t be here. I should be home, getting some rest. But after the confrontation that happened between us in the parking lot, I couldn’t help but feel powerless. She was my mate, and she was having twins which must be difficult for her. She needed a shoulder to lean on. My shoulder. But I hadn’t been there. But now was the time to change that. Well, there was still time. But I felt uneasy. What if she realizes that she doesn’t need me? What if she decides to head back to Blue Valley? Could I stop her? No. It would be her decision. I was confused about my thoughts. Why was I thinking so much? We weren’t together. We both just realized that we were mates. And she’d told me to reject her. Which I didn’t. I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. What’s wrong with me? I was slowly losing it. I’d battled a decades-old vampire, and yet I was scared t

Rohan “Do you think we should call him again?” Dayton asked as he watched me fiddle with my phone. I wasn’t sure it was a good idea, but I hated being kept in suspense. If something was wrong with Damon, it was only right that we would help him. It had been raining heavily for a few hours which made me wonder what happened to him. The rain wasn’t a good sign. If Cassian got Damon, then we had a tough mission on our hands. No. Maybe I was being paranoid. Damon was big enough to take care of himself. There was no way that he would lose to someone like Isaiah. Even though he had trashed us in the opera. “Rohan?” Dayton called, snapping me back to reality. I shook my head before answering. “No. He’ll be fine,” I said leaning off the wall. “Right now, we have to look for a way to find Cassian’s castle. There was only one person who knew where it was, and that was Isaiah. With him out of our sights, the mission is in jeopardy.”Dayton sighed and rubbed his forehead. His wounds had hea

  • The Forgotten Luna   Chapter Ninety

DamonThe storm subsided as I stepped into the house in my human form. I was naked, wet, and cold. A terrible combo. The door had been pulled off its hinges leaving the house open. The porch was damp with rain and so was part of the living room. The living room was also a mess. The broken center table and some other furniture lay waste on the floor. I was going to be hated once Daphne got back. That was why I wasn’t going to wait until she got back. I needed to be out of here and fast. But I couldn’t go without some new clothes. The door swung open and Cole stepped into the room with a pair of brand new clothes. He grinned as he handed them over to me. I looked at him in confusion. He had seen me shapeshift into a monster. A big bad wolf and yet he wasn’t scared of me. It was either humans were stupid or I underestimated them. “Here. These are my dad’s fresh out of the laundry,” he said. I got it from him immediately and slipped into them. A flappy shirt with multicolored strips
