Easton POV

My heart nearly exploded out of my chest when Emily said she would stay in a room with me. I thought for sure she’d want to stay in a room with her friend, especially after what she told me about her parents.

Dallas was running circles in my head, and it took all I could do not to immediately pick Emily up and run to the room with her. She didn’t hesitate when I took her bag and held her hand as we walked towards the elevator. When she leaned against me in the elevator, I took the chance to breathe in her intoxicating scent. I quickly realized that was not a good idea because I was instantly hard.

I could hear the fluttering of her heartbeat when the elevator stopped. At least I’m not the only nervous one. I know there are plenty of rumors about me being with multiple women, but I haven’t actually been with any women. I’ve always wanted to wait for my mate.

When we walked in the suite, I sat our bags down and asked Emily if she wanted to shower and Dallas yelped.
