A little earlier in the restroom.
"Excuse me... I think we may need to have a quick conversation." The two men slowly turned their heads looking over their shoulder. 'Who the hell approaches someone taking a piss?'
...
"Hey wait.. Aren't you?"
"Yea it's him!" The two men began laughing turning back to the urinal. "What the hell do you want loser?"
"God do you seriously have no self respect?"
"You two said something about spiking drinks?" The two men stopped laughing, and glanced at each other. "No you definitely misheard us. Do yourself a favor and forget what you think you heard."
"One little drop in their drinks I believe were your words." Collen mumbled while rubbing his chin.
...
"Look was the beating you got from Charles not enough for you? Are you trying to get beaten by all of us now? It can be arranged. Forget what you heard."
"Hell we could actually say it was us that heard you sayin
"Go fuck yourself." A broad grin spread across Patrick's face. 'I've been in this business for years. You think you're the first person to try intimidating me?' Patrick had been dealing drugs for more then ten years. People like Collen were a dime a dozen. Whether defending their friends, trying to impress their girlfriends, or trying to keep their addict girlfriends clean. It didn't matter if they were expert fighters or not. Sure Patrick had taken plenty of beatings in his time that's just how things were. But in the end, none of the people had the balls to dirty their hands and kill another man. In his business whether it was competition, customers, or white knights, he had his life threatened again and again, does it look like he's dead? Nope. "You know... I was kind of hoping that would be your response." Said Collen giving him a nod and a cold smile. 'Alright here comes the beating, time to clench the teeth." But to Patrick's surprise no punch ever came,
Collen took a step outside breathing deep the fresh air and exhaling all while allowing the gentle breeze to caress his face. He felt as if the wind was carrying away his sins he had commit this night."Collen did you forget about us?" Daphne and Alison called from close by as they too left the building."Sorry, just had a need for some fresh air." Collen said turning while presenting the pair with his warm smile. When Alison was close enough she leaned in gazing into his eyes, as if inspecting him, making sure his soul was still untainted.'Good his eyes are back to normal." She smiled giving Daphne a nod."So we figured since the party got ruined by those jerks, we would allow you to take us out to eat." Daphne said grinning."Well I guess I have no choice but to accept.""I've never heard any man complain about having two beautiful women accompany him to dinner.""Well I won't be the first to do so either." Collen
Collen stood up untying the girl's hands giving them a reassuring smile. "Remember the most important thing is to always stay calm. Running around screaming doesn't do any situation good." They both gave him a nod "Ok you two stay there for a minute, pretend you're still tied up also close your eyes." 'What kind of idiots leave people in a room completely unguarded?' Collen thought to himself, the men had stuffed them into the room, yes there was no way out apart from the door they came in through, but you don't know what the people are doing on the other side. Even if you're in the middle of a fortress a screw up like that will bare grave consequences. "H-Hey H-Help! She's trying to bite her tongue off so she won't be raped!" Collen cried out as if desperate to get help, even stammering over a few words. "So much for screaming not doing any good." Alison whispered. The door slammed open two men rushing into the room. "What the hel
"Well I see you still haven't lost your touch." John mumbled after a quick glance around the room seeing Collen's handy work. "Some things you can't forget even if you wish to. Was there much trash up top there?" Collen asked flicking his eyes towards the girls. "Ah there was some but I kicked it to the side." John said grasping what Collen was indicating. They were in fact talking about dead bodies Collen was making sure it was clear for the girls. John had encountered some resistance, but the men were far from professional soldiers, some rent a thugs who were given guns, and a few people that may have had some security credentials. After killing any resistance he encountered, John's men moved to secure the out perimeter while gathering up the bodies and moving them out of sight. "Ok Alison were going upstairs, you can open your eyes now. Keep your eyes on my friends back until we're on the next floor okay? He's the one that's in front of you."
"Why god Why!?" Collen cried out his face planted into his desk. People all around their office simply ignored the outburst. This was nothing new to them. They were unfortunately quite accustomed to such outbursts coming from Collen's desk. Evelyn seemed to enjoy his torment of enduring paperwork. So she would just pile it on him any time she wished to torture him."Rough day?"Collen lift his head from the desk to find a face peaked around the cubicle. It was quite obvious by the expression the man was trying his best not to laugh. This man was James, Collen's so called desk partner. The only thing that divided them was a small divider splitting their desk down the middle. James was an office clerk, oddly enough despite it being an important job, most people looked down on it, the pair together were considered the undesirables of the office. Although Collen gave it his best effort to get rid of anyone judgmental and overly aggressive, there was no one hundred percent
"I knew it, I fucking knew it!" Collen cried out running full sprint down the street."How could you have known something like this would happen! Can't you do anything about this!?" Running to his side was the beautiful Sierra, seemingly completely unfazed by the situation they've found themselves in."Because this is my lot in life! I have both the best and worst luck in the world, with how things have been going I figured it's bad lucks turn, and what the hell do you expect me to do!?""I don't know shoot them? Beat them up!? You're the man here, do something!""Shoot them!? Shoot them with what!? Should I run back there and steal that old ladies straw and shoot spit wads at them!?" Collen's voice was dripping with sarcasm. A deaf person would most likely detect the sarcasm just with a two second glance at his face."Oh come on sarcasm now? Aren't you being a little overly dramatic?" Sierra jabbed back exasperated. "It's like dealing with another
How did it turn out like this?"Is there anything else we can get you sir?""No thank you I'm fine, could you check on my friend though?" Collen said his voice absolutely relaxed. If there truly was such thing as being on cloud nine, this may very well be it. ' Could it be the bad luck has finally run it's course?'"Are you sure Mr. McDermott? Feel free to ask for anything, whatever it's you want I'll make it happen." Said a man laying a couple feet from him. The general atmosphere was definitely relaxing except for the man speaking to Collen, his voice was extremely tense as he addressed Collen."Anything?""Anything at all, you name it sir.""Can I have a go with your wife?""Absolutely, you tell me when and I'll arrange it for you." Collen felt his eye begin to twitch."How about your sister? I hear she's pretty can I have a go with her too?""If you wish for it, you can have them both at the same time." Collen'
The girl working at the bar came running back into the room carrying Mark's cell phone. Never has she seen him so worked up over anything before. Even when meeting with the head of the guild Brick, he was always cool, calm, and collected. Yet this moment of all times he was almost in an uproar. His face was a bright red, his eyes were wide, and most of all he was visibly shaking. She was beginning to worry about Mark. "Shit Shit Shit. I'm not getting signal. Shirley you're going to have to get outside and call Yuri for me! " "O-Okay, boss will everything be ok? Did Yuri become so powerful you're afraid of him?" She whispered. The concern in her voice was very noticeable. Shirley was very fond of her employer. He paid well, he would always treat her and any other employees right, he paid over time, and would give you any holiday off you requested. Weren't feeling good? No problem, Even if he had something going on that day he would come in to cover f
