The Lie

“ Ahhhhhh!!”

Screams echo in the four walls of the kings chamber as Elora laid sprawled on the bed. Sweat drenched her forehead and eyes teared as the pain and churning in her abdomen becomes unbearable. She looks at the women beside her, almost begging.

“ I can’t do it… pleasure it’s unbearable!”

The women places her palms on Elora’s forehead. Trying to encourage her.

“ Just few minutes more Queen. You are almost there. Just one last time.”

Gripping Elora’s hand she clenched it to nod at her.

“ Push my Queen! Push!”

Gathering all the strength left in her, biting her lip. She takes a deep breath to look up at the ceiling. Using everything in her to give a final push, the pain enough to make Elora’s vision turn blurry.
