When Aria left, it took Troy a minute to decide what to do. People usually did exactly what Troy told them to, especially women. This was new territory. When at last he decided he was going to go after her, he didn't have the foggiest idea where to start. This was feeling eerily like chasing after Caroline and Troy hated it. Everything with Aria had been different up until now. Everything she did with him was of her own volition, even if he did sometimes coax her into things. Aria liked her time with him. What was he going to do when he found her? Would the rage in his eyes scare her? There was no holding it back now. She was not with him. She was out in the open somewhere being an idiot just to spite him. He should've held on harder, been more persistent. He wouldn't make that mistake twice.

Aria was about to tell the Red Guard Soldiers she'd been left with that she was ready to leave when she saw him. Troy had just entered the club, looking livid. The way he walked, moved, hi

His hands moved along the curves of her body and she closed her eyes, her lips parting as she gave a little sigh of pleasure. He watched her closely, utterly fascinated as his hands came to rest on her waist. "Because you don't have to—" "Do you know what really drove me insane about the other women?" she asked, her voice hoarse and unsteady. She took the hands on her waist and guided them back down her body and onto her ass. "You played with them right in front of me."Again he took his hands off of her ass, laid them on her waist and pulled her body up against his. Aaron was being a good boy. Emily wasn't like the women he picked up back then. She wasn't like Sadie. A woman like Emily was classy, deserved the royal treatment, deserved better than The Casanova of Caines. He should have planned their first date better. He should have taken her to a bought out fancy restaurant and gotten a famous chef to make her dinner or something. S

2021, February 15th (Caines, Terres Somnia) After last night's debacle Aaron wanted to give them a chance to unwind a little so he took Emily to their home turf, Club Fortunae. Only apparently it was the wrong thing to do. Why did coming here suddenly seem like the worst possible idea? "This is weird, isn't it?" he asked. "No. We practically met here. Why would it be weird?" she answered, sipping hard on her cocktail. It was totally weird. He jumped out of his seat at the bar and held a hand out to her. "Come on. This is a date, not a funeral."She put her hand in his and let him take her out onto the dance floor. Not even Fortunae’s lively vibe could drown out the thought that maybe coming here with him really was a bad idea. All she could see as he tried to engage her attention was the other women, which was funny, because Emily always thought of Fortunae as their place. He was doing everything exactly

It was a stupid gesture, the dumbest, most fallible plan and in that moment she didn't care. She liked that he wanted her. When was the last time anyone wanted her? Even Ethan left her in the end. Aaron would too. As long as she was with him, she could hold on to him just a little longer. Maybe no one was watching and she was just paranoid because she hadn't lived like a normal person for years. Leave Aaron. Let me leave. Ask me to. Stop making me want you."We're not dating," she reaffirmed. He grinned, cupped his hands around her neck and kissed her, breaking her no kissing without sex rule. This little thaw was as miraculous to him as she had been, showing up and claiming him like she did in that restaurant five months ago. "Sure we're not. Can our not dating selves watch the sunrise together now?" She took his hand and led him back out onto the balcony. Keira wouldn't let them stay outside a moment past sunrise. For the

Neither did she. Not until she woke up this morning and she was, for the first time in years, scared out of her mind. "It's time for me to leave. It's been real."She tried to get off of him, but his hands tightened on her ass cheeks and he buried himself back inside her. "Is that the problem Keira? Is this getting too real for you?"The warmth in her eyes disappeared. She yanked his head back and opened her mouth onto his neck, biting down hard. Aaron winced. She pulled back harder, sunk her teeth into his skin. "I could walk out that door and she could be the one that walks back in in my place and you wouldn't know the difference," she said, taking complete control as she started back up on him. "One minute she's fucking you like I am right now and the next, you are dead. She could end your life in a hundred different ways."Keira didn't want to think about this stuff. She let herself get carried away with him as she blocked

2020, July 20th(Location Undisclosed)It was time to leave. No matter where they went, she just couldn't shake the feeling that they had a tail. Keira hadn't actually laid eyes on their pursuer yet, but she had a sneaking suspicion about who it was. If she was right, him being seen with her was dangerous for him. Who was she kidding? Being with her had always been dangerous for him. That's why it was only supposed to be one night. Aaron just held her so well though. Did everything so exactly right. He was a quick study. By the end of their first time, he already knew every single little place she liked being touched, had already mapped out her body. By the end of the first week she was completely hooked on him and all the different ways he gave it to her. It was the simple things that really got Keira going though. Like the way he'd shoved her up against a wall the moment they walked through the door. They'd spent the night partying h

Aaron always felt a little guilty about their drunken little slips. He watched her cheeks take on a light blush, saw her eyes take on a guilty look and he laughed again as he poured the wine. It seemed he wasn't the only one after all. Bloody hell, she knew about that too. What the hell had they been waiting for all these years? "No more pretending," she said, raising her glass to his. "No more stolen moments. Take as much as you want to Aaron Condor." After sitting down to dinner, the wine flowed readily. Emily wasn't exactly a lightweight, but they both knew she would get drunk long before he could even be said to be tipsy. She just kept throwing back the glasses anyway. Letting herself get more and more comfortable in his arms, with his lips and hands on her as time went on until they were full on making out. "You're done," he said, taking the glass out of her hand as she got on top of him and started clumsily undoing the buttons of his shirt.
