The day was bright and Sahithi was in great spirits as she took in the benefits of the morning sun. Since childhood she had been rising up early in the day to watch the sun rise and as a result she received plenty of Vitamin D that those orange rays of the sun. She was ready to face a new day with renewed vigour. She went on a tour of the washrooms, finding no one there. However, what struck her odd was the lack of separate bathrooms. It was obvious they had to bathe in the hall like area. She took a deep sigh and got ready before anyone else woke up.
“Hey, when did you get up?” Betsy asked as Sahithi came in.
“Ah, I see. As you fall into the routine you will not be able to get up so early.” Sahithi smiled and started reading the Bhagavadgita. It was her habit to start the day with at least a few slokas from the Gita that gave her enough mental strength, vigour and energy to face the day. Betsy stared at her for a long time before getting ready.
“Why? Is the schedule that rigorous?” she asked with a smile.
“You will see for yourself, wait.” was the reply. The four girls waited for their group leader to appear.
“Where is our group leader?”
“He is getting ready.”
“Where? I don’t see him anywhere?”
“In his room of course!” Sahithi stared at her in disbelief.
“Do you mean to say that he has his own attached washroom in his room?”
“Yes.”
“How come we have no privacy?”
“They say it is to make it easier for us to get ready.”
“That’s so ridiculous! At least they could have built a few bathrooms; we would have managed.”
“They say girls take too long to get ready, common bathroom is best.”
“What!” she couldn’t believe that anyone could give such a lame excuse for not building bathrooms for girls and provide some privacy to them.
Their group leader had emerged from his room locking it securely behind him. He looked so smart and handsome that Sahithi was sure he would steal a lot of hearts if it was not a school.
“There are some girls who crush on him.” Amulya whispered making Sahithi give a look of surprise.
“How...” The group leader had come to them in the meantime and she swallowed the rest of the sentence. He greeted them but not before gazing at the room.
“Where is Supriya?” a dusky girl entered at that moment wrapped in a towel.
“You are late!” he remarked, pulling her towel off and leaving her in her birthday suit. She instinctively tried to cover herself using her hands. “Still not used to this, eh?” he asked, making her blush bright pink. “We are getting late for breakfast!” The naked girl ran into the room an got dressed quickly while Sahithi stared at the scene. Was there no such thing as dignity for the girls in this school? She now knew why her uncle had chosen this school. They wanted to break her down mentally, so that it would be easy for them to make her their puppet. “That is not going to happen.”
“Come again?” the warden’s face was flushed with anger. She realised she had spoken her thoughts aloud and was embarrassed.
“Sorry. I was thinking about something else.”
“You better not think of breaking any rules here or you will face hell.” It was both a warning and a statement making a shiver run down her spine. It was going to be the longest six years of her life. “Let’s go.” The team of five girls and one male reached the mess hall without any further conversation.
“What is there for breakfast?” Sahithi asked the mess attendant who was serving them.
“Bread and omelette.” He said serving six slices of bread and two thin single egg omelettes. Sahithi grimaced as she saw the portion size. However, she chose not to say anything and went back to her table.
The school building was completely different from the hostel. The building was ancient but well-maintained. It was shaped like an “O” with four entrances, each one leading to one of the four hostels. Two sets of washrooms had been built – one in the east and one in the west of the building. The class rooms were spacious with plenty of fresh air blowing through the large open windows.
“It is easy to jump over.” Sahithi remarked standing near her classroom window and peering across.
“Yes. But no one does.”
“Why? It would be fun to escape the monotony once in a while.”
“Where will you go?”
“Anywhere there is no class!”
“You are quite the monkey, aren’t you?” Sahithi grinned, a twinkle in her eye speaking her nature. Their merriment was broken by the entry of the class teacher. He was a tall man, well built, looking smart but fearsome with his full beard and a stern face that brooded no disobedience. He placed the attendance register, chalk and the cane on his desk.
Why is he carrying a cane? Sahithi thought. Does he intend to use it or is it to strike fear in the students? He glanced round the room and appeared to take a head count.
“Who is absent?” a boy rose from his seat and answered him.
“Ratnamala sir.”
“What happened to her?”
“On duty sir.”
“Ok. Any new faces?” he glanced round the room.
“Yes sir. We have a new girl in the class.” He came to Sahithi held her hand and pulled her up surprising her. When she didn’t get up, he simply held her waist and lifted her up, placed her on his shoulders and carried her to the teacher’s dais, placing her before the teacher. Sahithi’s face was bright red from the ignominy of being carried like a sack of rice in front of everyone. As soon as he put her down, she slapped him hard – repeatedly.
There was a stunned silence in the class at the unexpected assault. The boy who had carried her was too shocked to react but once he had overcome his shock, he grabbed her hands and twisted them behind her back.
“Sir?” he asked waiting for instructions. The teacher was calm as he picked up the cane, swished it several times, relishing the sound it made. Then he looked Sahithi in the eye with a piercing gaze that sent chills down her spine. She gulped down nervously.
“You dare to insult me in my class.” His voice was barely above a whisper but everyone heard him clearly as if he was speaking over the PA system. “Now you will face the music.” Why did he sound as she was the culprit and not the victim?
“But sir...” he raised his brow silencing her. There was something about this teacher that made her nervous. It was something she couldn’t explain – the fear she felt was so unusual for her. She had never been afraid of a teacher so much.
“You dare to hit the class leader for no reason.” Sahithi couldn’t believe her ears. Wasn’t being carried by a boy reason enough to hit back? “So, he shall avenge his hurt pride by punishing you.” He handed the cane to the boy. "Give her two strokes for each slap she gave you."
“What the hell!” Sahithi blurted out. What was happening?
"Yes sir. Thank you sir." the boy was obviously happy while Sahithi stared in disbelief. "She slapped me six times, so that makes it twelve strokes sir." the teacher nodded and signalled for four boys who came and placed Sahithi on the teacher's table.
Two of them held her firmly while the third lifted her skirt up revealing her smooth round white buttocks. she realised her bottom was facing the class and the way she was being held, her pussy was completely exposed to everyone.
"You will count each stroke you get and thank me." the teacher instructed her. "Every time you miss the count or fail to thank me, he will start from the beginning again." she was too stunned to reply. "If you understand that nod your head yes."
realizing she had no choice, she nodded her head.
"Start!" the teacher ordered and the class monitor happily lifted the cane high in the air and suddenly brought it down with a swish.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Sahithi screamed in pain as the cane landed on her ass stinging it. If her hands had been free, she would have rubbed her bottom shamelessly. But she could only wiggle her ass and the boys laughed making her blush bright red in embarrassment.
"You missed the count and failed to thank me." the teacher's words made her gulp in fear. "Start again!"
As the girls waited eagerly for the reason they had been summoned for this meeting, the boys looked angry but not nervous or afraid. The group leaders were nowhere to be seen but Sahithi didn't care. Infact she was happy that she had taught them a lesson. The friendly match had been the last nail in the coffin and she had decided to resist come what may! The other girls were a bit nervous, trying their level best to stay calm. They had been used to the system; some had been rebellious in the beginning, some had even complained but the management had been too strict and brutal in suppressing all discontent. The girls were sure they would be punished; there was no escaping it. But they wanted to see what kind of punishments would be doled out to them. One thing was certain - they would be very unpleasant and painful. The management was comprised of the Director, Principal, Vice Principal, Chief Warden, Discipline Officer, Chief Security Officer and Administrative Officer. Everyone kne
“Who the hell do they think they are?” Sahithi burst out in the dormitory. There was no sign of the Group Leader for once. “Just wait! I am going to have my revenge.” “How?” “I intend to get them arrested.” “You are dreaming.” “I am not. I know what I can do.” “They are too strong!” “SO WHAT?” Sahithi shouted in anger. “WE KEEP LETTING THEM STAMP ALL OVER US AND THEY WILL BE STRONG!’ she paced to and fro in frustration. “HOW LONG WILL YOU BE SILENT? HOW MUCH MORE HUMILIATION DO YOU NEED BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK OF PROTESTING?” “Please don’t make a scene, Sahi. We will all be in trouble.” “TROUBLE? IS GETTING STRIPPED IN FRONT OF EVERYONE NOT TROUBLE? IS GETTING GROPED OPENLY IN A FRIENDLY MATCH NOT TROUBLE? IS WALKING ALL THE WAY FROM THE OTHER END OF THE CAMPUS TO THE HOSTEL COMPLETELY NAKED NOT TROUBLE? WHAT MORE TROUBLE DO YOU NEED?” The other girls were frightened by Sahithi’s anger. However, her shouting had brought the rest of the girls and the Group Leaders to their room.
Sahithi shook her head as her troubles seemed far from over. Her mind drifted back to the time when she was living a nerve-wracking life before she had gone unknowingly to this hell hole. She had spent the entire week looking over her shoulder and ensuring that no one could barge in unannounced. But, despite her efforts her bava would always find a way to be present whenever she came out of the bathroom after having her bath. “Why did you remove the handles?” she had asked him once. “To protect you.” “Rubbish! You are invading my privacy!” “You are my fiancée and there is no such thing as privacy between us.” “I am not marrying a pervert who treats me so shabbily in my own house.” He simply chuckled as if he was amused by her. “You are so adorable and cute!” “GET OUT!” “After you get dressed.” That made her look at herself and she screamed. She had only a towel on her body. “GET OUT YOU MORON!” he had simply pulled the towel off with a smile mortifying her. He then had literal
This was only the second time in six months that she had visited “The Sanctuary”. True to its name this building housed one of the most capable, experienced, honest and dependable persons in the world. Senior Advocate Prativadi Bhayankar Chakravarthy or PBC as he was known was one of the fiercest advocates of truth and justice. He stood by the real victims getting them justice. He was also a close friend of Sahithi’s grandfather Mr. Jagannatham which was why she had come to here. As their family lawyer, he held answers to many questions. Sahithi rang the bell and waited for someone to open the door. “Raju!” she exclaimed. “Why are you here?” he motioned for her to come in, stepping aside and holding the door open. He shut it when she entered and signalled her to follow him. She suppressed her curiosity knowing that he couldn’t speak and would have to hold in her questions till the right moment. He took her to PBC’s chamber and left her there. The room was empty except for two women –
As Sahithi leaned her head back in the cab she had booked, her mind brought up memories that had made her childhood so memorable. She, Janu and Harshi had always been together, sharing a strong bond, but everyone knew that she and Janu were inseparable. They played many games together; just the three of them with Janu leading the trio. Janu had been the tomboy of the group. “Eyy Janu! I am tired of those detective games. Let’s play something else.” She had said one day. “Okay!” Janu had responded. “What shall we play?” she had turned towards Harshitha. “Harshi! You are the brains of the group. Suggest something.” Harshi’s response had been to stare dramatically into space as if in deep thought. “Oi!” Janu had waved her hand before Harshi’s eyes after a minute. “I asked you for a theme to play, not to think out a novel!” “It’s not easy to think of a new game!” “Oh! Don’t be a drama queen rey! Spit it out!” “We can play many games...” Harshi had started. “Like Princess in distress
Sahithi recovered quickly; after all she was resourceful. She couldn’t afford to fail, so she glanced at what she had written so far – she had attempted the maximum number of questions. It was not difficult to pass; in fact it might be difficult to fail her. But she hid her true feelings and stopped writing. It was just the beginning of a long session of exams that left her emotionally drained. For the next fortnight she was fighting hard to juggle several devastating emotions at once: focus on preparing for the next exam while being made fun of, focusing on finishing the exam while she was groped by the invigilator, enduring the ignominy of having to walk to the exam department completely naked and fetch her dress – it was not something she had bargained for, yet, it was not possible for her to avoid it. “What good is a good future, if your present is being destroyed systematically?” she asked herself one day as she handed over her answer booklet to the invigilator. “Why can’t I simp
