Chapter 1

Author: Cocojam
That night at the Holy Banquet, the Arrow of Desire struck both the divine prince Cassius, a descendant of Zeus, and his father, Theron.

If they didn’t mate before the moon set, their divine power would implode, shattering their very essence.

In my past life, I had secretly loved Cassius for ten whole years.

So, when he grabbed me, his body burning up, I didn't say no.

After one wild night, I was carrying his thunder-blooded child and successfully married into the divine palace.

But after the wedding, he was ice-cold to me.

He was convinced I had stolen the Arrow of Desire, all for the sake of marrying into divinity.

Even after I gave him children, he never claimed me as his wife before the gods.

He saved all his tenderness for his one true love—the holy maiden Lyra, who was forced to marry into the Sea Realm and eventually died in a storm.

Later, I was branded as "jealous and wicked," scorned by all of divine kind.

So when my children’s overwhelming lightning magic went out of control, no one came to help.

My babies and I were consumed by that arcane tempest.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the night he was shot.

The young divine prince Cassius, burning with heat, reached out to me with desperate hunger.

But high up on the throne...

His father, Theron—the beautiful, ruthless God King who had ruled for centuries—was also losing the battle against his own searing desire.

Everyone expected me to throw myself into Cassius’s arms.

But this time, I gathered my skirts, strode past him, and sat right on the God King’s lap.

...

"This is bad, Selene! The arrow's poison is burning through the Prince's sanity!"

The High Priestess’s panicked voice rang in my ears. I broke into a cold sweat.

My chest tightened. The agony of being torn apart by wild magic was still seared into my bones.

The horrible image of my two babies crying out in divine fire still haunted my eyes.

"Someone shot the Arrow of Desire at the banquet! The Prince is in agony! He must mate before the moon sets..."

Hearing this, my mind instantly cleared.

This High Priestess—she was banished right after I married Cassius in my past life. I never saw her again.

So right now... it was the night both Cassius and his father got shot?

I was reborn.

I took two steps back and looked at the door to Cassius’s bedroom.

I could hear muffled groans of pain. It was the sound of his divinity fracturing.

In my past life, I rushed in without a second thought.

But this time...

"Summon a Pegasus. Go to the Sea Realm and bring Lyra back right now," I ordered. I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms. I fought back tears and forced my voice to remain steady. "She is his true love. He needs her."

The Priestess opened her mouth, about to argue.

"Go!" I snapped. "This is an oracle! Any longer and Cassius will die!"

Watching her run off, I finally breathed a sigh of relief.

In my past life, at the High Priestess’s urging, I had rushed into Cassius’s room.

I never expected him to drag me onto his bed so roughly.

I had loved him for years. Seeing him tortured by the Arrow, I was so worried that I let him strip my clothes off.

When his lips moved down my neck, my chest, and lower... I didn't push him away.

The Priestess thought the feeling was mutual and simply walked away.

That crazy night left me pregnant with a god's child.

Our wedding was rushed.

I thought we were meant to be. I didn't know it was the start of hell.

It took me five years to realize Cassius only felt disgust and suspicion toward me.

He firmly believed I shot the Arrow of Desire just to marry him.

He hated me for tearing him away from the woman he loved.

He was so cold, mocking that my children didn't deserve his blood, and even banned them from seeing him.

He never acknowledged me in public.

Five hundred years into our marriage, his magic lost control. My children and I died.

When the wild magic hit, my babies were still holding my legs tightly, but the next second, their cute faces were swallowed by golden lightning.

I touched my chest. A trace of my old love for him lingered, but the memory of being torn apart by his power was far stronger.

Never again.

I slowly walked toward a heavily guarded inner hall, untying the silk ribbons of my robe.

I remembered that Theron, the God King who ruled for centuries, was also shot by the Arrow.

Rumor had it that Theron was cursed by the Abyss and could no longer have children. That was why he only had one heir.

Because of this, Cassius was the absolute next in line.

But what if, this time, Theron had a few more kids?

The heavy doors slowly opened for me.

I could hear the splashing of the holy spring inside. Theron’s brow was furrowed with raw, violent lust.

His black armor was half off, clinging to his chiseled torso.

Our eyes locked across the steaming water.

His Adam’s apple bobbed. Then, he pulled me hard into his arms, right into a storm of lightning.

During my late pregnancy, Theron waited on me hand and foot. He even went down to the deep-sea ruins and fought the deadliest Siren King just to get me the legendary Mermaid's Tear pearl necklace."A gift to welcome our children." He gently put it on me. The pearls glowed with an ocean-blue light, reflecting the bottomless love in his eyes.Back in the Northern Wasteland, Cassius still wouldn't give up. He kept sending magic spirit-birds with voice messages, full of pathetic regret and begging."Selene, I was wrong... Forgive me... I know the truth now, Lyra ruined us... Please, just give me a chance..."I looked at those pathetic birds and summoned divine fire, burning them to ash. If apologies worked, my children and I wouldn't have died in my past life.Through the mirror, I saw the wasteland getting worse. Just to survive the harsh cold, Lyra had completely degraded herself. She was sleeping with low-level demons and reeked of rot.Worse, black spots started appearing on her ski

The raw power of the lightning shocked my fragile, severed soul. Searing pain hit me. I curled up in Theron's arms, breaking into a cold sweat."Selene!" Theron noticed something was wrong. He immediately scooped me up. "Hurry! To the Healing Spring!"He turned into lightning, taking us straight to the deepest part of the sanctuary. Warm spring water wrapped around me, but the tearing agony in my soul was still unbearable.Theron didn't hesitate. He stripped off his armor, stepped into the water, and held me tightly from behind. His burning chest pressed against my back. Fierce yet controlled lightning flowed from his fingertips and his kisses, pouring into me drop by drop, soothing my shivering soul. In that breathtaking intimacy and divine union, the pain was finally replaced by waves of tingling warmth.Artemis, Goddess of Life, descended personally. She gently touched my belly, looking shocked."Your Majesty," she said excitedly. "These are indeed Twin Star-Gods! Their power

After the feast, the gods looked at Cassius very differently. They didn't look at his face anymore. They just kept stealing glances at his crotch, whispering."I heard His Highness's divine seed has withered...""Shh, keep it down. No wonder he couldn't even satisfy a wood nymph.""No wonder the Saintess Lyra was so desperate..."Cassius stormed out of the hall with a dark face. The whispers behind him made him want to crawl into a hole and die.As for me, I chose this exact moment to surprise Theron.During our starlight dinner, I pulled out a glowing golden oracle scroll and placed it gently in front of him.Theron paused. He carefully opened the scroll. When he read it, he froze completely."This... is this..." His voice trembled. The usually cold and steady God King actually had tears in his eyes. "Twin Star-Gods?"I nodded, gently touching my belly. "The Moon Goddess sent me a dream. I'm carrying twins—a boy and a girl. With supreme godhood."Theron broke into a massive smile. T

Theron kept his word.In just one day, every nymph who ever bullied me was banished to the mortal realm.I stood before the water mirror in the Royal Vault. The scars on my face were almost gone, healed by the spring and Theron's relentless lightning. Only a faint mark remained, giving me a fragile, seductive charm.Around my neck, the "Star-Tear Diamond" shone brightly. Theron put it on me himself yesterday. It was absolutely priceless.I touched the necklace. In my past life, Cassius never even gave me a common spirit stone."How ironic.""What's ironic?"A cold voice came from behind. I turned around and saw Cassius standing at the vault door, looking grim. He stared at my necklace, pure jealousy burning in his eyes."Selene," he gritted his teeth. "Are you seducing my father just to get revenge for our past life?"I raised an eyebrow. Hearing him say it aloud only confirmed the monstrous truth I already knew."Revenge?" I smirked, leaning lazily against the mirror. "Cassius, you

His voice shook.I swallowed the tearing agony in my severed soul and forced my head up.Thunderclouds rolled above. The suffocating black sky looked ready to crush all of Olympus. A massive figure descended from the storm.Theron wore pitch-black armor, his rugged muscles bulging beneath it, wrapped in apocalyptic lightning. Pure murder burned in his eyes, ready to reduce the entire temple to ash. The air grew heavy with the aggressive, overwhelming scent of the God King."I didn't push her!" I used my last ounce of strength to defend myself. "She jumped!""Still lying!" Cassius played the victim. He pointed at the dying Lyra. "Look what you did to her!"Theron’s gaze swept the room. It landed on me—covered in blood, my soul bond half-severed. His deep eyes instantly flared with terrifying crimson light."Are you blind?" His voice

Her face was pale."Cassius... it hurts..." She leaned weakly against his chest, tears streaming down her face. "I just wanted to ask why she’s doing this to me..."Cassius carried her back up to the bridge. His eyes cut into me like knives."Guards!" he roared. "Pin this vicious bitch to the ground!"Four guards rushed over and violently slammed me onto the steps."I didn't push her!"
