Syria’s POV

I felt him coming closer to me.

When I turned my head, I noticed something in him shift.

It was like a flicker of panic passed through his face.

He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around me so tightly it almost hurt.

My cheek pressed against his chest, and I could hear the frantic pounding of his heart.
