Syria’s POV

I was in my room again.

They had taken Grandma away from me. Uncle said he would take care of her, that he would make sure she’d survive after he had treated her so cruelly.

I sat there, staring blankly at the wall, feeling like everything around me was falling apart piece by piece.

Suddenly, the door burst open. I flinched and looked up, startled.

But when I saw who it was, my heart twisted with anger and disgust.
