Kael’s POV

“Shit! Shit!”

I kept cursing under my breath while carrying Syria in my arms.

Her body had already gone limp, completely drained of strength, and her breathing was shallow.

She was barely hanging on!

I looked down at her face. She looked so pale. She was trying to speak, but I hushed her.

“Just hold on… please.”

This was exactly what I feared!

She was too caught up in her anger, too blinded by grief that she pushed herself too much!
