Chapter 32

INSIDE THE CAR.

“It’s hot,” Rocky growled.

He took off his dress shirt, crumpled it, and threw it to the floor. As if that was not enough, he kicked off his shoes, leaving his black dress socks on.

He was about to unbuckle his belt when he heard Arthur, his head bodyguard, order the driver.

“I think he was drugged. Drive to the nearest convenience store. We need to hydrate him.”

The driver hit on the gas right away, screeching to a halt when they reached a 7-11 store. One bodyguard walked out and returned with bottled water.

“Sir, drink,” Arthur commanded.

Rocky opened one eye and took a long swig, but Arthur yanked the bottle away from him. Its contents sloshed into Rocky’s body accidentally, but Rocky, in his semi-unconscious state, was unaware.

“Don’t drink too fast. Drink slowly.” Arthur gently instructed.

“He was sweating profusely.” The other bodyguard said.

“I think we need to get him to the hospital.”
