Alyssa's POV.

The noise in the slave quarters is deafening , almost as loud as if someone had turned up the volume on an entire room full of slaves. It echoes through every corner, like a chorus.

The whole place seems to shake. But it wasn't shaking, the discussion made it sound like it would fall.

I twisted my hands painfully as my memory drifted to the Alpha, how he hurt me yesterday.

My heart clenched at the thought. He was such a bad Alpha, and I didn't know why.

But I couldn't get him out of my head. I blame the moon goddess for making him my mate.

He's so intense, and so darn handsome, I didn't like how attractive he is with the way he acts cruel, it makes me think of him even when I don't want to.
