CHAPTER 59

Maya opened her eyes in the dim lit room the following day, her body feeling drained. She looked down and saw Jordan’s one hand draped over her waist, feeling him breathing deeply behind her as he continued with his sleep.

She looked towards the full height window draped with sheer curtains and saw the sky being lit up with the sun’s brightness. She glanced at Jordan when she felt him rolled onto his back, still sleeping deeply.

Recalling what transpired the night before, she closed her eyes as it started to flood her mind. She knew that Jordan will be wanting something intimate to happen between them and as his wife, he expects her to do her side.

When she saw Jordan’s determination to bed her last night, she tried as best as she could to get herself drunk, passing her limit of the number of glasses of wine she usually takes so that she will pass out.
