Jordan watched from across the room as Cassandra brought Maya towards the outdoor area of the estate, talking nonstop despite the warning looks he had been giving his niece for not following his instructions.

The moment they entered the mansion, Cassandra had run towards her and welcomed her openly. He couldn't blamed his niece since she had looked up to Maya when she's still her Auntie Rakki. Jordan even thought of adopting her after they get married and tell everyone about Spencer.

However, after the accident, with him continuing his search for Rachel aside from drowning himself with work, he had neglected looking out for Cass.

"Rachel seems to be distant since the two of you arrived here," he heard his grandfather's voice to his side. "What seems to be distracting her?"

Jordan turned towards him.

"She thinks I'm a monster for what I did to her," he answered in a low voice. "Now, I'm regretting what I did to her. If only I could turn back time, I would right the wrong I did."
