Two weeks later…

Jordan watched from the bench as the jury came back from their private conference room on a Wednesday morning. He shifted on his seat and winced a little and Adam, who is beside him, turned in concerned.

“I’m good,” he assured as his friend. “Just needed to stretch out after this.”
