Sierra looked a little embarrassed as she replied to Halsey, "I was just about to head home, but I don't have money for a cab. I was thinking about finding a shared bike."

She glanced around. "But there aren't any shared bikes around, so I was about to look for one."

Halsey smiled. "Don't worry about finding a bike. Where are you heading? We'll give you a ride."

Sierra's eyes lit up, though she hesitated. "Are you sure? I don't wanna waste your time."

Halsey shook her head. "No problem. Get in."

Halsey opened the back door.

Sierra didn't refuse this time. She looked at Shaun and smiled brightly. "Thank you, Mr. Lane."

She slid into the back seat.

Shaun glanced at Halsey. "You too, get in."

Halsey climbed into the passenger seat. Shaun settled into the driver's seat and pressed the accelerator, then the luxury car glided smoothly onto the street.

Halsey turned her head. "Where do you live?"
