Chelsea tightened her grip on the phone. "They're back together."

Gilbert nearly jumped to his feet. After all the scheming he'd done with Chelsea, and it was all for nothing?!

"How did they end up back together? No. I'm not letting that happen. If I can't have what I want, then no one else should either!" Gilbert roared.

"I feel the same way," Chelsea said coldly. "I don't want them to be together. So you'd better come up with a new plan, and fast."

Gilbert's voice dropped to a dark murmur. "Got it. I'll figure something out."

Halsey woke up when she had had enough sleep. She stretched gently as her long lashes fluttered open.

The first thing she saw was Shaun's handsome face. She was still in his arms, and he was reading through a stack of documents.
