2. Her name is Elea

Gabrielle stared blankly at the little girl who was standing in front of her, bowing her head.  He actually really wanted to laugh at the cute prayer this little girl was predicting in his heart.

"What's your name?"  Gabrielle asked breaking the silence.

Elea is nervous.  His mouth seemed unable to speak when his boss asked.

"Miss, Young Master is asking you a question!"  Ares said.

Elea glanced slightly at the man who brought her into this room.  He blinked trying to open his mouth.

"I-I can't talk!"

Ares's lips twitched.  Why is this little maid so cute?  If he can't talk then what just came out of his mouth?

"What's your name?"  Gabrielle asked again.

Funny.  This was the first impression Gabrielle had of this little girl.

"Emmmm, that's the boss. My name is Elea," replied Elea nervously without daring to look her boss in the face.

'So her name is Elea?  Beautiful, just like her face'

"Why do you keep your head down? Aren't you afraid of breaking your collarbone?"  asked Gabrielle noisily.

Ares looked away to the side hearing his Young Master's ridiculous words.  Looks like tomorrow morning the sun will rise from the east.

"Haaaaa?"  parrot Elea was shocked.

Elea quickly raised her head.  He then grabbed the back of his neck to make sure the bones weren't broken.

"My collarbone is fine, boss!"  said Elea innocently.

Gabrielle covered her mouth.  The innocence of this little girl felt so ticklish in his ears.  He was just joking, and it turns out that his joke was taken seriously by this little girl.  Funny, really very funny.  Gabrielle seemed to be comforted by Elea's innocent attitude.

"Who said you broke your collarbone!"

Elea fell silent confused.  "The boss said earlier," replied Elea.

Gabrielle laughed.  Why is this little girl so honest?

"Ares, did you hear me say that?"  Gabrielle asked evasively.

Ares shook his head.  For some reason his name was dragged into this slightly strange Young Master's game.

"No Young Master"

Elea looked at the man named Ares then turned to look at her boss who was called Young Master.

Suddenly his chest pounded hard when he realized who the person sitting in front of him was.

"Ummm boss, may I ask a question?"  asked Elea doubtfully.

"You have to spend quite a bit of money if you want to ask me!"

Gabrielle suddenly became interested in playing with Elea's innocence.  He couldn't wait for the cute words to come out of his tiny lips.

"But I don't have money boss. There is, but I've calculated it to buy food until the end of this month!"  said Elea honestly.

The room suddenly became silent.  Gabrielle didn't expect this kind of sad answer she would hear from Elea's mouth.

Gabrielle's eyes then glanced at Elea's body which turned out to be very thin like a board.  Even his wrist was no bigger than the size of his three fingers.  And he only realized that now that Elea answered the question.

"Why are you counting money to buy your food Elea?"  Gabrielle asked curiously.

Elea is shy.  He looked down while squeezing the hem of his shirt.

"That's one way for me to survive boss. I have to be good at managing finances so that all my needs are met!"  Elea answered quietly.

Gabrielle walked closer to Elea.  He then pulled her to sit on the sofa.

"Ares, please get me some medicine!"  Gabrielle ordered as she removed the shirt covering Elea's blistered arm.

Elea was taken aback by her boss's actions.  He then tried to close his sleeves that were exposed again.

"Don't move. I'll cut off your hand if you won't stand still!"  Gabrielle threatened while glaring at Elea.

Elea's body stiffened when she was threatened like that by her boss.  He then nodded his head.

"Who do you live with?"  Gabrielle asked, wiping the wound on Elea's arm.

Elea bit her lip in pain.  He even forgot to answer his boss's question.

"Elea, can you hear me?"

Gabrielle was stunned as Elea blinked her eyes in surprise.  Beautiful.  Elea's eyes are so beautiful.  His eyes are light brown with a speck of jet black in the center.

"Sorry boss. What did the boss ask?"  asked Elea.

"I asked who you live with here," Gabrielle answered, clearing her throat.

"May I confess to you God that I have fallen in love with this little girl?

"I live alone boss."

"Where is your parents?"  Gabrielle asked as she accepted the medicine box that Ares gave her.

Elea's head lowered.  "I don't know. I grew up in an orphanage and was kicked out of there after I graduated from junior high school."

Gabrielle's hand stopped.  He looked at Elea with pity.

"Why did they kick you out?"

"They say I'm an unlucky child. Even though I'm not like that boss. I always obey everything that is ordered by the orphanage mother. I also never fight when other friends bully me!"  replied Elea telling her past.

Gabrielle smiled.  He then rubbed the top of Elea's head proudly.

"You really aren't the bad luck Elea. They're the ones who are. You made the right decision to get out of there when they kicked you out!"  praised Gabrielle.

Elea smiled.  It was the first time anyone had ever warmed to him.

"Thanks for defending me boss. I'm so happy."

Ares who saw that his Young Master could smile this freely was delighted.  His eyes are not blind.  He could of course see that his Young Master had an interest of his own in Elea, the petite maid who had accidentally caught his Young Master's attention.

"This fun?"  sneered Gabrielle excitedly.

"Lya. The boss is the first person who didn't insult me after knowing my life's journey. If other people heard it, they would immediately boo and leave me with the excuse that they don't want bad luck!"  said Elea with a sweet smile.

'What is this girl's heart made of, my God?  Why can he tell the bitterness in his life with such a sweet smile?  Is he immune or is this his attitude?  Ahhhh, I want to take her home so much'

Gabrielle painstakingly applied ointment to the wound on Elea's small arm.  He immediately blew on the wound as Elea let out a pained cry.  Gabrielle carefully wrapped the wound with a bandage then covered it with the uniform that Elea was wearing.

"Don't work anymore after this. Your wound could get worse!"  Gabrielle said as she leaned her burly body on the sofa.

Elea's eyes glazed over.

"Hey, why are you crying?"  asked Gabrielle in surprise.

Elea was shocked to death when her face was cupped by her boss's big hand.  He gulped between nervousness and embarrassment.

"B-boss, please let go of your hand!"  said Elea uncomfortably.

Gabrielle's gaze cooled.  He was offended by Elea's words just now.

"Do not expect!"

Ares scratched his forehead.  His Young Master's pushy attitude was sticking out.  This was just the first meeting, it was certain that Elea would be even more surprised by her Young Master's behavior in their subsequent meetings.

Elea relented.

"Tell me why are you crying? Did my words hurt you?"  Gabrielle asked.

Elea shook her head.  "No boss. I'm crying because I lost my job at this restaurant."

Gabrielle smiled strangely.  How could Elea's simple words make her feel like this.  Who knows!  What is clear is that he will not let this little girl out of his grasp.

"I told you not to work just yet Elea. Not firing you!"  said Gabrielle excitedly.

Elea immediately wiped her tears.  His eyes immediately lit up.  "That means I can still work here boss?"

"yeah."

"Wow! Thank you so much boss. You are the best person in this world!"

Gabrielle blushed.  Ares who saw this tried not to laugh.  He had not expected that anyone would dare to embarrass his Young Master.

Kruyu!

Kruyuk!

Elea showed a smirk on her lips as her stomach growled.  Her face flushed with shame.

"Ares, bring food here!"  said Gabrielle responsively.

"Okay Young Master"

Gabrielle looked at the clock on her hand.  His brows furrowed.

"Haven't you eaten since morning?"

Elea shook her head.  "My meal time hasn't come, boss."

"What does it mean?"  Gabrielle asked confused.

"I only eat once a day boss. And that's what I do after coming home from work. Hehe, but it seems the worms in my stomach are not cooperating today!"  replied Elea while scratching her forehead embarrassed.

Gabrielle's breath seemed to have stopped as soon as she found out what kind of life Elea was doing.

He immediately ran out to the kitchen to get as much food as possible.  He swore in his heart that he would never let Elea live such a miserable life again.

He will turn his bitterness into a happiness that Elea will never forget.
