Chapter 38: Meeting Almyra

Almyra accidentally ran into Valentino Araya who she knew as Calvin Miller while she was in the parking lot. The girl didn't know how to act in front of him but before she could do anything, she was greeted by Valentino first.

"Night, Almyra."

"Good evening, Calvin. Did you just get home from work?" Almyra asked.

"Yes, Almyra. Did you just come home too?" Calvin asked.

"Yes."

Valentino's eyebrow furrowed in confusion.

"At this hour? It's almost seven in the evening. You just got home? Are you working late?" Valentino asked.

"No. Uh, I was home around five o'clock in the afternoon but I stopped by the mall first to do some shopping and then came back here," Almyra explained.
