Chapter Fifty Six

I left the office and head home in a cab because Tony didn't come to pick me up and I didn't see him in the morning. I was getting worked up and didn't know what to do.

When I got home, I wanted to give him a call but was afraid he might not pick up my call so I didn't call, I sat there staring at the door, hoping to get a knock on my door but neither came.

It is the one-hundredth time that I have been staring at the door this evening with the hope that there will be a knock at the door and Tony will walk in through the door but as the previous times I stared outside, there was still no Tony.

I sighed and walked back to the sitting room, I was tired and exhausted from work and being alone In this big house was killing me with Tony being absent. I miss Tony and I just wish to see him because I was used to having him around.
