Chapter 14: The veil of manipulation

King Edward knew that he was totally innocent about the accusations of him sending mercenaries from his kingdom to murder the Adernia kings guard and servant.

Although he had his issues with King Fredrick of Adernia and he was friends with King Maximilian, but he had not sent those men.

He thought of ways to make peace with the Adernia King and save his Kingdom the stress of any battle that may occur. He thought of sending a letter to King Fredrick to clear up things with him ,which was the idea of King Maximilian.

King Edward sat in his chamber, his brow furrowed in contemplation as he pondered the situation at hand. The letter he intended to write to King Frederick carried with it a delicate balance of diplomacy and a genuine plea for unity. He wished to mend the wounds of the past and bridge the divide that had kept their kingdoms apart.
