Chapter 13: The sinister Allience

In the dimly lit chambers of King Maximilian of Arondale, a dangerous alliance was forged. The cunning ruler of an adjacent kingdom to Adernia, his eyes filled with ambition, sought to extend his dominion over the lands of Adernia and beyond. Lord Arcturus, the trusted advisor to King Frederick of Adernia, stood before him, his mind filled with schemes and aspirations of his own.

He was gladdened when he got the invitation of King Maximilian and he sensed that whatever the meeting was ,it would that of great benefits to him.

As the candlelight flickered, casting eerie shadows across the room, King Maximilian outlined his proposition. He promised Lord Arcturus the coveted throne of Adernia, a position of power and authority that would surpass his wildest dreams if he worked hand in hand with him to eliminate the King of Adernia.

" I will make you ruler of Adernia as soon as I become the Monarch of the seven kingdoms of the east. Join me in conquering the world", King Maximilian said.
