Author's POV

When the car stopped in front of the hospital, Ace got down hurriedly and picked up Amelia in his arms then ran inside the hospital.

"Doctor, doctor" Ace shouted for the doctor.

Soon two doctors came there. Ace put Amelia in bed.

"Please check on her" Ace requested someone for the first time in his life.

"Nurse take her in the operation room. Sir, please go outside so we can help your wife" The doctor said looking at Ace.

Seeing his care towards the patient, they thought Ace was her husband.

Ace nodded and came outside of the room and sat down on a chair.

"It is my fault. I should not have let her go alone. I should have been careful when that bastard was around. She is in this condition because of me" Ace started blaming himself.

After half an hour the doctor came out of the room.

Ace stood up immediately.

"Doctor, how is she?" Ace asked the doctor.

"Sir, your wife is drugged," The doctor said.

"Drugged! What do you mean doctor? Is she okay?" Ace asked the doct
