I didn’t knock. I just opened the door to his room.
Kael was seated near the fireplace, shirtless, a low-burning flame casting golden shadows across his sculpted frame. His back was to me, head tilted downward like he was lost in thought or in pain.
He didn’t turn.
“I knew it would be you,” he said.
I stepped in, closing the door softly behind me.
“You always do,” I whispered.
He rose and turned to face me. Our eyes met, and that familiar spark surged again, curling through my chest like smoke from a fire I didn’t know how to control.
I walked toward him slowly. “I couldn’t sleep.”
His jaw flexed. “Neither could I.”
There was so much unsaid between us, but we let the silence fill the room instead. I stopped inches from him.
"You can stay in my room if you want to, I know this is all new to you but I'm here even ever you are ready" he said looking straight into my eyes.
"I don't want to stay a second away from you Kael, but all these seems weird to me though"
"Being called a wolf"
"Being around wolves"
"Hunted by..... I stoped in my tracks when Kael’s hand lifted and brushed a strand of hair behind my ear. His fingers lingered, tracing the curve of my jaw.
“You smell like moonlight,” he murmured. “Like snow and storm and something wild.”
I shivered.
“Do I scare you?” he asked.
I looked up into those damn cute gray eyes. “No. You make me feel like I’ve been asleep my whole life... and I’ve only just woken up.”
His breath hitched, and he cupped my face with both hands, lowering his forehead to mine.
“This thing between us... it’s more than the bond,” he whispered. “It’s bigger than fate. Bigger than duty. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do when you look at me like that.”
“Then don’t think,” I whispered back. “Just feel me already.”
Kael didn’t need any more permission. His mouth met mine with hunger that curled in my belly and settled low. He pulled me against him, hands roving my back, claiming without hurting, and touching without demanding.
He lifted me effortlessly and walked us to the bed, laying me down with reverence. As his body covered mine, I could feel the restraint trembling beneath his skin, the wolf inside him pacing, desperate, but yielding to him.
To me.
He kissed me like I was something holy. Every touch, every gasp, every stolen second between breaths was layered with more than desire. It was vulnerability. Safety. Worship.
"Seems you didn't get enough of me earlier today" he said kissing my neck.
" I really don't know why I want you so much, I'm not usually like this"
"It's natural Sasha wolves are horny creatures" he said have indulged me in another kiss.
His hands slowly moved to my boobs.
How we ended up being nacked was something I wasn't sure about but every second was delightful.
Kael lifted my bare body against his, as I curled my legs on his waist, kissing him like the world was about to end.
My hands on his shoulder and his hands on my ass. Today really felt like the best day of my entire life.
He slowly droped me on the bed, capturing my boobs again and playing with my honey pot. I could feel the heat of his fingers as he kept moving.
"Just dive in already" I moaned and he obeyed like a child that was promised a chocolate bar.
He kept thrusting for what seemed like forever.
Our bodies moved like we had done this in another life. Like we had waited centuries just to find this one night.
Afterward, we stayed tangled in silence. My fingers drew slow circles across his chest. His thumb grazed my knuckles.
He spoke softly into my hair. “I don’t want this to end. I don’t want you to wake up and decide it was a mistake.”
I leaned up and kissed the corner of his mouth. “Then stop worrying about tomorrow. I’m here now. And I’m not going anywhere.”
Kael looked at me then and something in his expression shifted. He pressed his palm flat over my heart.
“You feel that?”
I nodded.
“That’s mine now.”
I smiled faintly, but it was honest. The room smelled like pine, smoke, and something sweet I hadn’t noticed before. Him. Us. A new scent in the world.
“Tell me something true,” I whispered. “Something real.”
Kael’s throat bobbed as he swallowed, eyes still on me. “When I was seventeen, I ran away from the pack. I thought being Alpha was a curse. I didn’t want it. I didn’t want anyone telling me who to love, who to fight, who to protect.”
“What changed?”
He stared at the ceiling for a long moment before answering. “I saw what happens when you leave your people without a leader. Rogues attacked the border. We lost three kids that night.”
I touched his face gently. “You came back.”
He nodded. “But I’ve always wondered... would I still be that boy, running from fate, if I hadn’t seen the worst?”
“You’re not that boy anymore,” I said. “You’re here. With me.”
Kael pulled me close, holding me like the past could never touch us again.

I stood at the edge of the hallway, just out of earshot, phone to my ear.
“She was in his room,” I said quietly, just so no one would hear me.
A pause.
“Don’t worry. I’ll handle it.”
Click.
My eyes gleamed in the dark, a cruel smile tugging at my lips.
“Let the wolves fall in love,” I murmured. “It makes the breaking so much sweeter.”
“ she is pretty and perfect, Kael doesn't deserve someone like that "
" I'll snatch his so called mate and his kingdom as well. I said laughing loudly.
Sasha*** The next morning***My body draped over Kael’s like we’d been made to sleep like this. His arm was heavy around my waist, skin against skin, his breath steady and warm against the crown of my head. For a long moment, I didn’t move. I didn’t want to actually. Wrapped in Kael’s scent, pine, I felt like I’d found something I didn’t know I’d lost. Safety. Not just physical, but soul-deep.His fingers twitched against my side, drawing lazy circles while pouting. “You awake?” he murmured.I smiled into his chest. “Barely.”He shifted slightly so I was looking up at him, our noses nearly touching. His eyes were sleep-hazed but still stormy and dark and damn cute. “You stayed.”“You didn’t exactly give me a reason to leave.”Kael grinned, slow and crooked. “I could give you one now.”“Oh?”He rolled suddenly, pinning me beneath him. His mouth found mine with a hunger that felt like it had waited centuries. The heat between us from last night hadn’t dimmed, in fact, it sparked faster

SashaAfter our little intimate time together, I creeped out of the room holding unto his hands like they were all I had. The game had only gone half before we left and he was back to continue now. I was still wondering how his wounds healed so quickly or maybe it's part of the many things I'm still to discover.**************************************My legs still felt like jelly by the time we stepped outside the arena. The match had been a warzone. Hockey, I’d thought, was brutal enough. But this? This had claws behind every blade, fangs behind every cheer. Kael had played like a beast barely contained inside a man's shape. The air was icy, but his presence next to me felt warmer than fire. We didn’t speak for a while. Was his eyes were telling me a lot. The match was over. We’d won. But the real game, the one I know she'll come back, but I don't know when.Kael led us toward the training complex tucked behind the main arena. His jaw was tight, fists clenched at his sides.“You ok
SashaI shook my head. “I’m not a wolf. You’re insane.”She laughed and it sounded like bells chiming at a funeral.“You don’t even remember what you are. How could you? They locked it away. Suppressed it and hid you from me.”“But the moment he touched you, your wolf stirred. And now your wolf is waking.”Kael stepped in front of me like a shield. “She’s not yours to touch.”Selene’s face twisted with something ugly. “She’s not yours either,” she snapped. “You were mine, Kael. Chosen by me. I am the Moon Goddess. I gave you your power. I made you Alpha. I mated you to me and you spit it back in my face.”My heart stuttered. “Wait… you were his… mate?” “Yes,” she whispered. “Fated. Blessed. Bound.”“But when I was separated from him due to my duties, they then tied him to you?” Her eyes burned into mine. “You took what was mine. And now, I will burn it all to get him back.”The mirror shattered, sending shards across the locker room floor. Kael yanked me behind him, his whole body
Sasha ***Still That Night***I pulled the blanket tighter around my shoulders, staring out at the snow-covered trees outside my window. Even the pines looked like they were hiding secrets.Who was she?The voice didn’t feel like something human. It wasn’t just anger, it was possession and her appearance???Like whoever she was, she believed Kael belonged to her. And she wanted me gone.I rubbed my wrist without thinking. the same wrist Kael had touched. It was warmer than the rest of my skin.God, what was happening to me?This job was supposed to be a chance at peace. A break from the mess I left behind. But now, my peace had a pair of glacial eyes and a voice in the dark whispering death threats. And yet… I wasn’t afraid of Kael.I was afraid of what I was starting to feel for him.I know this feeling was weird, but I can't hide the fact either.Kael***That Same Moment***I stood shirtless in front of the open window, letting the cold bleed through my skin. The moon was nearly ful
Sacha *** Still with Kael ***I stood there, heart racing like I’d just run a mile uphill. He was breathing hard too. His eyes flicked to my face, then my lips, then away again. But it was too late. That moment when he touched me, it felt like something unlocked. Like a dam breaking open somewhere in my chest. And it scared the hell out of me.“I’m not what you think I am,” he said finally, his voice quieter now. “And if you knew what I was… you’d run.”“You don’t know me,” I said.He turned fully now, looking at me like he was trying to decide if I was a threat or a lifeline.“I know enough,” he murmured. “You don’t belong in this place. With us. With me.”“I didn’t come here to belong,” I snapped, my voice cracking. “I came here to survive from my past and help athletes.”He flinched. And then, something inside him shifted. He stepped closer again. His hand lifted slightly, as if reaching for me, then dropped back to his side.“I can’t let myself want this,” he said.I didn’t ask
