Jace’s POV

The week had already been brutal, and last night only made it worse. I dragged myself home from the boys' hangout. I was drunk enough to barely keep my eyes open. Scott had practically carried me into the room.

He stood by my bed as I collapsed, his arms folded like a disappointed parent. “You can’t even stand straight. Let me stay the night, at least till morning. I’ll help you get ready for class.”

“Leave me the hell alone,” I muttered, my words slurred. “I’m not a kid, Scott. I’m a big boy.”

The protest ended with a loud snore. He rolled his eyes, muttered something I couldn’t catch, then sighed. “Fine.” The door shut behind him with a soft thud.

Darkness pressed in. The room tilted, shifting like it was on a spinning carousel, the ceiling melting into the walls. I squeezed my eyes shut, but it didn’t help. The alcohol had my head heavy, my body sluggish, and every nerve buzzing.

And then, I felt it.

A hand. Warm. Soft. Sliding over me from behind.

My foggy brain fired t

Jace’s POVI shoved my hands through my hair and decided I couldn’t survive another minute without something to drink.Padding down the stairs, I expected silence, the kind of heavy stillness that sits in a house too early in the morning. But the first thing I noticed was the faint, rich smell of coffee and the sound of slow footsteps.Scott was at the dining table, pacing back and forth with a steaming mug in one hand and his phone glued to the other. His brows were knit in concentration, eyes flickering across the screen like he was lost in another world. It was six-thirty in the morning. What the hell had him so focused at this hour? Before I could even question him, frustration boiled up again, and the memories of what had happened came clawing back to the surface.“Are you kidding me right now?” My voice came out rougher than I intended. “You’ve been in this house the whole time, and you didn’t stop that vampire from sneaking into my room?”Scott froze mid-step, his head jerking

  • The Hockey Star's Spicy Stripper   CHAPTER 67: Claimed By Him!

Sabrina’s POV“What do you mean you walked off?” Bree asked, her voice edged with disbelief.“Bree, I know I shouldn’t have done that, but I freaked out, okay? I didn’t know what to do or say. I was just staring at him blankly, and the moment was awkward.” I ran a hand through my hair, frustration and embarrassment bubbling up again.Bree crossed her arms, eyes narrowing. “Sabrina… come on. You can’t just walk off every time you feel a little… overwhelmed. What was that about?”I sighed, collapsing back onto my bed. “It’s not just a little overwhelmed. It’s… I wasn’t ready for the question he asked me; it took me off guard. It came right after that long kiss. I mean, I won’t lie, the kiss was amazing… so good. And when he… folded me closer…” I stopped abruptly, realising I was going into too much detail.“You bad girl!!!” Bree teased, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. “So… you didn’t like Simon at all?”I froze, realising how awkward it sounded when I tried to explain. “I

  • The Hockey Star's Spicy Stripper   CHAPTER 66: Shisha, Jokes, and Trouble

Jace’s POVWe were at Xavier’s house, the usual weekly hangout spot for the guys I trusted most on the team. Every week, we rotated whose place we’d use, and this time it was Xavier’s. Scott had come along, of course, mostly to keep me from spiralling into whatever mood I was in, though he usually ended up as the butt of our jokes anyway.“Damn! Your dad is the real OG, man,” Xavier teased, adding extra coal to the shisha pot. “I wish my old man were like that.”“Are you kidding me right now? You think this is all fun until you get stuck in his orbit,” I muttered, flicking ash into the tray.“Well, the fun thing here is that you get to bang three hot women. I mean, look at this!” Leo leaned over my shoulder and squinted at my phone, his eyes glued to Wendy’s picture. “She is smoking hot!”“Hot, but trouble! She caused the whole mess I had with Nico back then,” I reminded them, trying to keep my voice level, though my jaw clenched.“From the story you told us, you banged his babe? Bad

  • The Hockey Star's Spicy Stripper   CHAPTER 65: The Choice My Heart Can’t Make

Sabrina’s POVThe kiss deepened before I even realised it, Simon’s hand sliding up my arm, steady, warm, until it found its way lower. When his palm cupped my breast gently, my breath hitched, and heat surged through me like a spark caught on dry leaves. It wasn’t that it felt wrong; it didn’t. It felt good. Too good. My body leaned into him instinctively, but my heart jolted me back to reality. I pulled away, lips tingling, breath unsteady.Simon froze instantly, his hand falling back like he’d touched fire. “Shit! Sabrina, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have…”I shook my head, swallowing hard as I pressed my lips together. “Nahhh… you don’t have to apologise. I’m not even upset. It’s just… I don’t think this is right.”His brows furrowed, searching my face. “Not right?”I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, trying to calm the pounding in my chest. “I mean… we barely know what this is. And you’re sweet, Simon, really sweet, but I don’t want to move too fast. Not when I’m not sure where we

  • The Hockey Star's Spicy Stripper   CHAPTER 64: Caramel, Mint… and Simon

Sabrina’s POVI collapsed on my bed the moment I got back from the hospital, my body sinking into the mattress like it had been waiting all day for me to stop pretending I wasn’t tired. Ami’s health wasn’t getting better, not really, but at least she hadn’t had any complications since the last scare. That alone was enough to keep me from breaking down completely. Still, every trip to the hospital left me carrying a heaviness I couldn’t shake off.I lay on my back, scrolling through my phone in an aimless haze when Simon’s name lit up the screen. I froze. Part of me wanted to ignore it. I already knew where this was going…the date. I wasn’t in the mood to fend him off again. But curiosity and maybe a little guilt made me swipe to accept.“Hey, Simon,” I said cautiously.“Hot girl Sabrina,” he teased, voice playful and smug, like he’d been waiting all day to say that.I let out a startled laugh. “Hot girl? Since when did you start calling me that?”“Since the day you showed up to school
