A Rolls-Royce drove into Campbell High,packing across the park,a kind of way that screamed rebel.

The door opened widly, and he stepped out.

"That's Jace Anderson! Popular fuckboy and heir to the Anderson multi-billion company! " one of the girls drooling spoke as she faced her friend.

"He is so hot! No wonder everyone girl wants him" another girl squealed as he walked towards the school hall.

Jace Anderson,19,walked around the school like he owned it,and across the pavement,Maya.

The quiet girl he shared chemistry class with,he never spoke to her or even know her name.

To him,she did not exist just yet.

Maya Carter,18 sat with her sketch book on her lap,her headphones on to block out noise as she focused on her thing.

She glanced up to see Jace and his usual squad of friends flocking around him like bees and the girls,the ones that were clinging to him, made her feel gross.

She frowned,returning to her book. She disliked people like that,people who did not take like serious and also acted like the world owed them something.

Jace ticked all the boxes, and she never actually noticed people like him.

"Hey bookworm!"

Maya smiled softly even before turning back,she knew the voice.

Sophie Williams,her bestfriend.

"Sophie! You are late again"

Sophie beamed,"I actually spent my night watching movies,I forgot today is Monday. Now I have a huge headache! "

Maya laughed wholeheartedly, teasing her.

"Serves you right,lets get too class before the bell rings."

"Yes ma." They both chuckled as they walked past the clique,the boys with old money written in their forehead and Sophie faced Maya. She lowered her voice as Maya frowned.

"I heard fuckboy Jace dumped his girlfriend of two weeks,the 2nd time this term."

"And its just in a month " sopphie added as she glanced at the boys immersed in whatever conversation they were having.

"Good for him" Maya simply said,her eyes already scanning the path without fully listening to Sophie. It was not her business,boys like that never exist in Maya carter's carefully constructed world.

At lunch, Jace sat with his friends,the squad of spoilt rich kids with a degree in snubbing people below their level,they were self absorbed idiots;maya's words,not mine.

His friend, Albert casually spoke.

"So you are no longer with fay,I thought you said she is the best among your older girls"

Jace smirked,his handsome face more cuter as he leaned forward.

"She is only good in bed,she can fuck you to heaven man" they all burst into laughter as Jace spoke again,this time with confidence.

"I can get any girl i want,why settle for one" he smiled as he ate his burger and fries.

Ethan,his bestfrined,popular fuckboy too,he leaned forward smirking as he spoke.

"You can only get girls who let you,some girls have resistance for bad boys like you."

The guys first into laughter, and Jace frowned,obviously annoyed.

"I can fucking get any girl i want,Ethan,no girl can resist my charm" he spoke,this time with a smirk.

"You think so?"

"Duh, I know so."

Ethan laughed, looking away as his eyes fell on Maya.

The quiet bookworm who liked to draw. The girl who always acted like she was in a certain kind of world that involved only books and sketches.

He smirked, an idea forming in his head.

Jace, who was busy discussing with the other guys, paused when Ethan spoke. His hands gestured towards Maya who sat with Sophie,eating her snacks.

"Her. She has not even looked your way since 6th grade" they all burst into,definitely getting the joke.

"She is not my type,nerds are boring "Jace simply said but Ethan would not have it.

"She is hot, not glaringly though,like she is scared of showing her body." Albert spoke observing Maya.

They all turned to subtly look her way.

"Fine,I want us to make a deal,Jace."

"Get Maya Carter to fall in love with you,then kiss her and dump her publicly,"

Ethan smirked as Jace looked at him smiling as his eyes found their ways to Maya.

He hesitated for a while.

"Whats in for me."

"You get my latest Pearl island,or i get to bash your Rolls-Royce"

"Unless you chicken out" Albert added smirking as he watched them

"Then be prepared to lose your 10 million dollar pearl island,I never lose man."

"Deal?"

"How long?" Jace asked looking her way again.

"one month" Jace smirked already thinking of ways,and Maya sat across them,eyes on her snacks,not knowing she had become a prey in a game of chess

That afternoon,Maya walked into the chemistry lab. She adjusted her lab coat,dropping her back as she sat in the middle roll.

Her eyes scanned the classroom,the place was not even filled to a half.

She was early,she smiled softly remembering her unfinished sketch, she opened her boss baby cartoonish bag,and slowly brought it out.

Jace walked into the lab.

He had never arrived this early for chemistry.

HIs eyes scanned the place as students squealed.

He simply ignored them,already used to girls drooling .

He smiled as his gaze fell on Maya,her eyes focused on the bag she was ransacking for her sketches. He walked towards her.

"Can I sit here?" He spoke smoothly.

"No." Her reply came almost immediately.She did not even bother looking up.He froze,obviously not expecting her to refuse.

Sophie walked in,she sat beside Maya eyeing Jace.

He forced a smile,but his jaw tightened as je walked to the squad at the back who burst into laughter.

They had seen the drama and loved every second of it.

No one dare says no to him!

He looked back,she was drawing again.

"Fine"

He turned towards Ethan.

"Two weeks." Ethan raise all eye brow.Jace's eyes remained on Maya.

"I will have her."
