Sunset Shooter

"Are you sure it's only tropical drinks?" the female bartender glanced at the man before her. She was used to serving him, but his drink seemed different from usual this time.

"Yes!" Lucas touched his glass of drink; he turned to the other side, a sign that he didn't want to be disturbed. The female bartender continued her work. Sunrise Bar is more relaxed than usual; classical music makes the interior design of this elite bar more elegant.

Manhattan, soon to welcome winter and near the end of Lucas Sage's year, feels empty than he can bear—a skyspoon CEO. Ltd, for the first time, felt his life was not lively.

Lucas felt none of the fun challenges he's faced recently. He already has everything, wealth, sex, and women. It's become boring now.

Still, Lucas Sage, the man who spent his youth in Sicily, his charismatic; his charm can make women end up in bed, but there will be no love for it.

"You're very stressed right?" a woman's alto voice made Lucas turn his head to his right.

The woman sat with her elegant posture on the gas lift bar stool. Even if the clothes don't suit her curves, preppy style clothes for coming to an elite bar?

Lucas had already guessed that the woman was just a student trying to have fun with his money; of course, she was a spoiled girl who could only whine to her father to fill her pockets with money.

"Your face looks tired, and you only ordered tropical drinks? Are you serious?" repeated the woman.

Lucas sipped his drink and stared into the woman's eyes without saying anything.

"I'm really stressed, and I need a sunset shooter right now! Isn't that why we came here?" the woman smiled. Her lower lip is densely curved, and her upper lip line is sensual. She was interested in that part.

Lucas sipped his drink back; he glanced at his watch. The woman realized Lucas wasn't interested in her chat when the bartender asked if she had ordered a sunset shooter.

Lucas glanced at the woman's hand that took her glass and downed her drink in one gulp. The woman's face grimaced then she smiled contentedly. "Do you want to sleep with me, sir?" she said, looking at Lucas deeper.

"Sorry?" Lucas smiled faintly; one sip shouldn't make that woman drunk, right?

"Arghh, my father might set me up with an old man! I'd rather give my virginity to someone else than that fucking old man right?"

"You're still a virgin?" Lucas said calmly.

"I'am sir, and I plan to sell my virginity to a rich man! Oh, you don't want to sleep with me?"

"I don't do that with teenagers!"

"Do I look like a teenage girl to you? You're picky, huh?"

"Are you not?"

The girl asked for extra to drink and took another sip like before. "Well, if you don't want to I will be disappointed because you rejected me, but if you want to do that it would be an honor for me."

"You really want to sleep with me?"

"Yeah, why not? Are you still a virgin?"

"You will regret saying that! Don't test the madness of a man like me young girl! Go home, and return to your father."

The woman shrugged her shoulders; she got off her chair and approached Lucas. "You're so arrogant, sir; your mouth says no, but your body can't lie to me" The woman stroked Lucas's already lumpy under his pants.

"Ha ha ha, have a nice day, sir!" the woman just walked away as if She had done nothing else to plead with Lucas. And that, tickling Lucas' pride, he felt for the first time a woman had not begged him.

"Welcome, Mr. Lucas," the butler greeted Lucas at his luxurious home.

"Are you preparing dinner for me?"

"Yes sir!"

'" Throw it away; I'm not in the mood to eat!" Lucas climbed the circular staircase to his room on the second floor.

Mona could only shake her head after hearing her boss' orders; the delicious food was almost untouched every time. "It seems he's been thinking a lot lately," Mona said, glancing at her boss's back. The 40-year-old woman has worked for a long time as a butler at the house.

Still feeling empty, Lucas flushed his body with cold water under the shower. He wrapped a towel around his waist and left to lie on his bed. He took a deep breath "Shit!" Lucas muttered.

Suddenly his mind remembered the girl who disturbed him at the bar. The girl seemed to disturb the other side of his pride. Lucas' cell phone rang, breaking his thoughts about the girl.

He glanced at his cellphone screen; it was a phone call from his bodyguard. "What's?" Lucas picked up the phone call.

"I received an email message, it's from Mr. Fantino!"

Lucas frowned; it had been a long time since his good friend had not contacted him. "I will contact him tomorrow."

Lucas threw his body back into his bed and closed his eyes. The tense time it was passed. Lucas came down for breakfast and smoked a cigarette in the backyard.

He reached into his cell phone, looking for an old contact he had rarely called. He called someone, and not long after, the man picked up his phone call. "Hello," the man's distinctive voice with a unique accent.

"Haven't heard from you for a long time, Fantino," Lucas said casually

"My best friend! I miss you; you never revisit me!"

"Well, my time has been taken up by work!"

"Alright, maybe this sounds sudden, but I need your help."

"Just say it!"

"Can you help me with women's problems?"

"Oh, you want to marry again?"

"Ha ha ha, that's not it! It's about my daughter! She's in New York, Manhattan for college , but it's like she's trying to get out of my sights! I beg you to take care of her there, and make sure she marries the man of my choice!"

Lucas sighed; although his heart felt heavy dealing with women, he couldn't avoid Fantino's request.

"Send me the picture, I haven't seen her face for a long time, I seem to be starting to forget!"

After their sudden conversation, Lucas received a photo of his old best friend's only daughter.

Lucas glanced at his cell phone screen, his eyes tightened, and his whole body shivered hotly. "Fuck!" He was shocked because the photo he saw had the same face as the woman he had met at the bar, who offered to sleep with him.
